Thanks to Mabsy for turning me on to this, I absolutely love it and am about to start my 2nd tube. Like Mabsy said, you use this after your regular cleanser, so it basically is like a deep cleanser/exfoliator. I use this a.m. and p.m. It's brown in color and you press a small amount into wet skin without rubbing. I personally love the smell, and Lamicuz described it perfectly when she said it smells like beer. It does have a yeast and barley malt smell to it, and although I'm not a drinker, I really love it! My skin feels moisturized after I use it, it doesn't really have deeply cleansed feeling. I still put moisturizer on because that's my favorite part of skin care. The only thing I don't like about this product is the packaging. Seriously, they should work on the packaging because it rips easily! It comes in an aluminum-like toothpaste tube, and although I felt I wasn't rough with it, within the first week it ripped in the middle. And I used it from the bottom up, so I don't know why it did this. So the cleanser was not only coming out from the opening, but from the middle as well. To remedy this, I keep the product in a ziplock type plastic bag to keep it from getting contaminated. Other than poor packaging, this is really nice!

The above post is a review of the following product available at EDS:
Dr Hauschka Cleansing Cream (50 ml / 1.7 oz)
Dr Hauschka Cleansing Cream (50 ml / 1.7 oz)

Cleansing Cream gently cleanses, exfoliates, fortifies and refreshes, protecting the skin’s natural protective function for healthy, radiant skin. Cleansing Cream retains the skin’s natural hydro-lipid barrier while also preparing it for the next stages in the Dr. Hauschka skin care daily care routine.

I'm really glad you tried this AND liked it too! Smile

I remember the beer comment being made before and I must say I was quite confused by it. Then again I'm not much of a beer drinker and I don't get to smell it all that often (liquer Port and white wine for me thanks!) so I'll just trust you both on that one.

Have you seen much difference in terms of your pores after starting to use this? For me the difference was very noticeable in terms of the little blackheads on my nose. I do have quite a few products that are effective at removing blackheads but seeing as our pores fill up with gunk everyday it really makes sense to clean them out everyday too instead of waiting for the stuff to oxidise and turn black. Well, that's my two cents anyway Smile

Hi Mabsy,
I'm almost done with my 1st tube, and about to start the 2nd, and although I love the way it feels and smells; I can't say I've noticed a dramatic difference in terms of pore minimizing and blackhead removal or reduction. But I will keep using and will update if I get positive changed like yours. I think part of the problem is I'm using too many new products and it's hard to tell sometimes which is working and which is not. I've decided to simplify my skin care and not try and add any new products at the same time.

I've also been using the Dr H. cleansing cream and think it is fantastic! It doesn't leave my skin feeling all dry and tight, and I love the smell too.
thoughtcrime; I've also decided to stop buying new products for a while and to use up what I've got first, I keep mixing and matching so much that I don't know what's working and what's not! Although I can confirm that from using the Dr H. cleansing cream in the mornings for a month I have noticed a significant difference in my skin's texture.
Will post reviews of some of the other Dr H. products I've been using as well so watch for those!
Thanks Mabsy for your total rave about Dr H., you should be getting commission! I think I have finally found the skincare products that work for me (touch wood of course)!

Hi I am just about to try this product, have combination skin, blocked pores round nose and open pores on cheeks and forehead, had been using the md formulations but only had them a couple of weeks and no noticeable improvement, however they do exfoliate but no minimising of pores.... face also looks blotchy which didn't before. I am now addicted to this forum, but also being a product junkie I think I had better start saving! Intend to try the vitaming c too, does anyone have any recommendations on these gather the IS Clinical are favoured, though I am in the UK?

Anyway I will order the dr H now as the rave reviews seem to credit it and let you know how I get on. I think your all brilliant for updating and sharing information. Keep up the good work Razz

I hope you like the Dr Hauschka. There are some people that didn't care for it and saw no results with it, but I think that the majority of people have really liked this. Just a word of warning - a small breakout might be possible with this but will go away. Some people have them and some don't.

I haven't (yet) tried the IS Clinical but I am a very big fan of the Vivier vitamin C serums. I am currently trying the Janson Beckett C&C serum and I really love the texture - it's too early to say much about the results.

I'm still trying to figure out the benefit of this cleansing cream. I've been using it religiously morning and night for two weeks and I still do not see any improvement in my pores, etc.... Sad Of course, they don't look any worse, either.

I will still keep using it, as so many people truly seem to love it, but I'm afraid that I am going to wind up being one of those people who didn't see a benefit from Dr. Hauschka...

P.S. - I've watched the video on how to apply it several times, so I'm confident that I'm using it correctly.

Try leaving it on your face for 5+ mins after you have done the press and roll method, it lets the Cleanser penetrate the skin and acts as a kind of mask. Also I find it works better when I use a toner afterwards.

I've used this product for two days now. I am very sorry to say that I do not see anything yet, but I have many white heads after using this product. i remember that some people mentioned that they had many breakouts after using this proudct. I wonder if the way I am applying is not correct. i viewed Dr. H website, unfortunately, i cant see the video they have. My question is how do you roll and press without rubbing? How do you apply this in your nose? Thanks.

Um... you weren't actually expecting visible results in two days right? Smile Embarassed After two weeks of using this twice daily my skin looked fab! Yes, I did have a slight breakout (nothing major - no big pimples, just tiny little pores purging).

You need to apply this on clean skin and press it in. It is a bit hard to describe.... Just smooth some over your damp face and start pressing it in with your palms and also roll your palms lifting from one side to the other... I hope that makes sense....

I can't use this, but my friend does...Anyway, I have watched her do it, and it is kind of like rolling a stamp in an ink pad...only imagine your hand is the stamp and your face is the ink pad. Very Happy

I received my Dr. H Cleansing Cream 2 days ago and began using it for the first time last night.
I've recently been plagued with a bunch of blackheads on my nose and was curious to see if Dr. H CC would be able to get rid of the problem.

Verdict: After 2 uses, my nose looks so much better! Fewer blackheads, smaller pores. It's definitely worth a try.

Mabsy - No, I wasn't expecting the miracle to happen in 2 days, but I was surprised Shock by all the tiny whiteheads I saw in 2 days. I hope you are right about my skin is in the process of purging. I will try the rolling and stamping method. Wish I will be able to say all the nice things about this product.

Great analogy Faith!

happygirl163 - Good luck with it, I really do hope that it works well for you. Keep in mind that there are always some people that a product will not work for - you just need to know how long to give it and when to call it quits...

It left me with alot of little tiny whiteheads too Shock all around my chin and under my lip, I thought I was the only one. I used this religiously for over 2 weeks twice a day and I was left with whiteheads so then I started using Dermalogica's drying microfoliant Rolling Eyes. It was drying but I got to tell ya it really does help make the black heads come out very easily(I was shocked).

Hi! I bought one for my husband for his blackheads, I heard from my friend that this cleanser is really good. But he's been using it for two weeks now, and the changes are not as obvious as we expected. I've tryed it myself, and I liked the way my skin feels after using it, and I liked the smells of it too. So I guess me and my husband will be keep using this cleanser and hopefully it will help!

Actually it smells like beer after it's gone flat, but not too strong. I have tried to use other products but always end up with Dr. Hauschka CC. I guess I'll never be faithful to just one line!

I started using the CC just over a week ago and I absolutely love it! I am using all of the products recommended for my oily skin and they all seem great, but this one especially. I even like the smell! I haven't finished my sample tube yet and have already ordered the full-sized cream. I'm starting to get the hang of the press and roll and I'm actually enjoying doing it. In just 1 week my skin has become much smoother with less bumps. Such an improvement on what it was like before! I just hope that it continues to improve. I'm following the instructions and not putting anything on at night - this seems to be working well for me. I have a habit of feeling my skin as soon as I wake up in the morning and since I started using the CC it feels just like I imagine it should do, smooth and well moisturised. The only thing I'm not sure about is whether I should be using it in the morning as well as evening, I'm afraid I'll overcleanse it. My skin is pretty oily with spots. I've used it some mornings and not others, but haven't been able to tell the difference yet.

I did start using it in the am as well as pm and I think it has actually cleared up some spots on my forehead. I ran out of my sample tube before I got my order and after a couple of days without it I bought it from a store beacuse I just couldn't bare the thought of my skin getting worse without it. I have two tubes now, but at least I won't run out this time!

My husband kept using the cleansing cream and it helped his blackhead problem a little. I stopped using it because I found the Dr.H cleansing milk actually suits me better.
