| Well, I ordered the L-ascorbic acid crystals from Personal Formulator and made it according to the directions on this forum using the crystals, water, and HA. I placed it in a blue bottle and now I wonder how long it will last? It's been 3 days and it didn't turn yellow, it's still perfectly clear. Is it still good? Or should I just make it every day? |

It should be fine. I've had mine for about 3 weeks now and it's still fine. Not sure exactly what the shelf life is, I want to assume a month or two? Someone please chime in if you know.
Remember to keep it in a dark and cool place. |

| Mine last a long time more then 5 weeks, beyond that I really cant say since I would be finished with the little bottle by then. The thing is that I live in a relatively cool climate by the ocean so maybe that helps with sustaining the life span of the serum. I keep the Vitamin C in my bathroom cabinet and tighten the lid after each use. Hope that helps! |

Oh, well I'm glad. I thought I read that if you make it without the preservative that it only lasts 24 hours. I'm relieved that that's not the case.  |
