I wanted to try this after Farouk mentioned a Pevonia exfoliating cleanser (though I don't think this was the exact one). You know how it is, people innocently mention a product name in conversation and it sticks in your head and you decide that you really really want to try it for some reason. I have read many good things about the Pevonia line (mostly the one for rosacea though) so that might have been the trigger to try more of their products.

This "cleanser" is a white cream with tiny little scrubby granules in it. It is quite gentle, though I would probably classify it more as a gentle scrub and still say that the PTR Botanical Buffing Beads product is gentler still (or at least that's the impression that I get). Nevertheless, I really like this and I have had no problems using this on a daily basis (though I only do use it once a day, not twice). I'm not sure if this stings my eyes (this being one of my important cleanser tests Smile) because, since it has scrubby bits in it, I have not been using it around the eye area. Overall, this does remove makeup well and doesn't leave the skin feeling dried out.

I will probably buy a full size of this. It's one of the cheaper Pevonia products and it's a nice scrub to have on hand.

This unique and effective cleanser containing: Soapwort, Triclosan, Grapefruit Oil and Citric Acid, gently emulsifies sebum and impurities promoting intense cleansing for problematic skin. Leaves skin fresh and bacteria-free.

Hello Mabsy, this is a little ironic. I am in need of a good scrub and was thinking of either Pevonia's or PTR's buffing beads! I have not tried either one. My skin is on the oilier side right now and I have huge pores. Any suggestions? Nothing too harsh though 'cause I use Retin-A at night. Oh, thank you for your thought on PTR's Power K eye cream- I think I will give it a try.

It is funny how even when I find a line that I can't live without, I am still looking for other "bits and pieces". I guess I am a skincare junkie! Laughing

hi guys

wow mabsy - you mentioned my name in a forum post - i really feel part of the EDS team now! Thank you Very Happy.

I dont have any experience of the cleanser your refferring to but i know that the Pevonia Ligne Clarifyl Problem Skin Exfoliating Cleanser is really good - great at preventing breakouts.

Ive just received my DDF Acne Exfoliating Cleanser today - looks like creamy tomato Razz soup and i need some help Mabsy (&co). I dont understand how to use it - the instructions read:

Gently cleanse acne prone areas using a circular motion. start with a once a day application......a bit more irrelevant jazz then..."for extra benefits may be left on the skin for 5 minutes before rinsing"

What i dont get is - do i wet my face before rubbing it in using the "circular motion"?

P.s Going for a high-tech Dermalogica Facial Soon so gonna give everyone the low down on this..Im so excited Very Happy !!!
