....wear black dresses too?
As titled. It seems for many restaurants, the waitresses there are dressed in black tops or black little dresses. So would I look like a waitress too if I chose to dress in a black little dress? Would u ladies avoid wearing black just for that purpose? |

Nope...I just wear better jewelry than they do. |

I would wear whatever I like. As long as you feel good, you don't even need to think about how the other people think of you. Relax, just to be yourself. |

yeah I guess u ladies are right. I just feel embarrassed that my dress is about the same as the waitresses, that's all. Guess I'm thinking too much & worry too much |

Why would someone mistake you for a waitress if you are seated at a table with someone? |

the jewelry comment is too funny! since these girls are working, i'm sure their dresses wont be as short, cute, sexy, etc... you wont have a problem outshining them and black is so classic i'm sure no one will notice at a restaurant.
this reminds me of a time my DH wore a black button down with black slacks for some meeting we went to together and i convinced him to stop by the MAC store with me. he must have had 3 different women ask him for help thinking he worked there! |
