Is there any articles that help explain hormone role in skin aging?
I know alot of women who go through menopause comment on skin aging due to decreased hormones. For women in their teens, twenties, thirties and fourties and etc with hormonal/endocrine disorders with low oestrogen and progesterone, would skin aging be accelerated due to decreased hormone levels?

This is a very superficial look at estrogen use in skin care. There's also an article on the site about the use of progesterone. Don't know how current either one of them is. Dr T usually cites his sources though, so you may be able to get to the bigger studies. |

I don't know about hormone loss in the teens (that would be unusual, and in need of an endocrinologist) but decrease of hormones in older women does affect their appearance.
There is a lot of information about bio identical hormone replacement at lef.org.
I'm looking into a new doctor now myself. |
