It was 6 below this morning with 2 inches of snow on the ground from Monday. I am heading out the door and hopefully I don't look like Michelan Man's twin sister. To top it all off my first stop is Costco to join all the happy shoppers.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone, enjoy your day. |

32 degrees here - no festivities, no cooking turkey, no nutty family members - going to the beach tomorrow. But I'll be thinking of you - Happy Thanksgiving!! |

You are heading into summer there my highs are still in the low to mid 80's F and it's almost winter. What do you get during July, your winter? |

We don't really get a winter - 18 degrees C is considered cold. Average temp is low 20s. I think Florida and Queensland have pretty similar climates.

It looks beautiful, Keliu. Is is excessively humid there? I think that is what bothers me most about FL weather in the summer - the humidity is horrible. (We are getting a "cold front" here and it will be high of 70 tomorrow. ) |

It does look beautiful there doesn't it? It amazes me Riley just 5 hours by car and my high for tomorrow is 80, 10 degrees difference! You get a little bit more "winter" than down in this part of Florida. |

January and February are the humid months - but it's not as bad as up in Northern Queensland where it's an absolute sauna. We're lucky, we live in a high rise building and get a nice sea breeze. |
