Trying to cut down on spending on skincare so have decided to go the DIY route for my Vitamin C serum, as so many here seem to have success with it here on EDS.
Have done endless reading here on the forum and elsewhere and have come up with a recipe based on actives I already have and also plan to order.
My plan is to make the 'base' of the serum and store this is a dark amber bottle in the fridge for unto 3 months at a time. I will then take out a bit each week (i.e. about 10ml) and mix L-Ascorbic acid into that for freshness.
Would be grateful of your critiques on my recipe below (adapted from one of Kassy's I believe) 
Here goes:
Phase 1
Distilled water (60/ 65%)
Glutatione (1%)
Di-Panthenol (0.5%)
Phase 2
Hyluaronic Acid (0.2%)
Phase 3
Propylene Glycol (10%)
Phloretin (2%)
Vitamin E (1%)
Ferulic Acid (0.5%)
Phase 4
Glycerin (4%)
Phenoxyethanol (0.8%)
Phase 5
L-Ascorbic Acid (15/ 20%)***
***To be added weekly to each 10ml batch.
