Vitamin C serum is perfectly fine to use before LED treatment, however I would let it soak in for about 30 mins before using the Quasar. Light breaks down vitamin C so letting it soak in will be more beneficial.
I've also learned that green tea is a great topical to use before any red LED therapy treatment, some people just steep green tea, and apply the bag to the skin and dab it on, let it dry and soak in for 5 minutes, then use the light. A hyaluronic serum might work nicely as well.
I love red light therapy. I believe it's one of those hidden secrets in skin care. I own 2 Lightstims and an Omnilux New-U device. I truly believe that these have made an extreme difference in the overall appearance of my skin and it's painless and nearly effortless (especially with 2 Lightstims going at once). It's worth the 40 mins to an hour of daily use 5x a week...no downtime, can do it privately at home, LEDs last for years and years. There is nothing but pros with LED therapy for your skin. |
