Hello, everyone! I have a quick question regarding Retin-A, mixed with somewhat of a review of the product to inform everyone what I have experienced.
I started Retin-A 3 months ago, in which I began with the lowest strength, being 0.025%. With the new start of this product at its lowest strength, I started to see almost immediate results; my complexion began to get better, dark spots began to fade, and just the usual positive changes introduced with Retin-A, well minus the sort of drawback with redness and dryness that can be easily cured with a good moisturizer.
Now recently I have started using the next strength, 0.05%, however; this is where my question comes in. Ever since I started using this new strength, it seems wherever I usually apply the Retin-A, my skin is taking to an orange tint. Now, there is another factor to this, being that I drink a glass of carrot juice twice everyday since about a month ago, and I have been informed that it may turn one's face to an orange tint. What I don't understand is that ONLY the parts of my skin that I apply the Retin-A has turned an orange tint, being my face and part of my neck. I figured that ALL of my skin would receive the orange tint, logically. This leads me to assume that somehow the Retin-A is causing this "phenomenon". Does anyone have any ideas or advice?
