Does anyone have a needle depth which has been successful on reducing NL folds? I am also using the Dot Matrix, and I would like to work with both for optimal results. |

Dr. Fernandes recommends using 1mm-3mm needles. He states that 3mm is recommended but an intensive 1mm will work, especially if the lines are not deep. |

Thanks for your help. I realize now that I haven't been going deep enough for the NL. It has worked well on my forehead, but the skin is so much thicker on the folds. I'm going for 3 the next time. |

Do you roll a 3.0 mm on yourself? When I had a Dermapen, it's max depth was 2.5 mm. I guess they have changed things in the past year! |

Both Dr S and Dr S say that 3mm needling should be done in a medically supervised setting. |

From my perspective dermarolling is great for thickening the skin in the NL region. More recently, I have been rolling with a 2 mm and the NL is one of the areas that I focus on during a roll. However, these folds are also due to muscle and skin sag so it is important to incorporate facial exercises to lift the cheeks and build muscle in conjunction with the DR. |
