Has anyone used both a cheap/knock off dermaroller - Asian ones that can be found on ebay or amazon, for example - and one from owndoc/leaf and rusher/etc. Did you notice a difference? |

Over the last 3+ years of rolling, I've bought basically all my roller from ebay. They were all from China. Some people find issue with them. I have not. Actually the only roller I had an issue with was one from Owndoc. Must have been rare to happen as she sells quality products. |

Like Sarah say's at owndoc.com, I would steer clear of the 500+ needle rollers that have blade like needles instead of plain straight needles. They are usually purplish in color. While I've never seen any science proving they are more risky and they may well work as good, I would rather have needles poking my skin than kinda slicing it. |

I've used the *slicers*. Absolutely agree to stay clear - needles don't penetrate so well (proportional to the number of needles under pressure with same force) and they do feel like they're slicing - I didn't notice much difference afterwards but it just didn't feel right
Anyways, my dermarollers are all going in the bin now....am a total convert to the owndoc Derminator after 2 X 1/1.5mm and about 5 x 0.25mm treatments. The single needling on individual lines (I have a number 1 between eyes and couple of minor forehead ones) is brilliant - something I could just never do with a manual single needle.
I used rollers for years (and think that is absolutely great) but am so committed to dermaneedling now that the Derminator cost is totally worth it for me. |

think I must have bought at least 3 dermarollers including the original dermaroller but have discarded them now since I got lazy at using them.
Now that I'm turning 33, I will be needling more because my laugh lines are more prominent and i don't want to resort to botox.
I have noticed that by switching to the dermapen, I'm getting better results. Probably because I find it easier to use and the needle length is adjustable.
It really depends on the area you are targeting. For example, for anti aging and wrinkles - you can go 0.5 to 1.5mm depending on how deep your lines are.
For cellulite, the length can start at 0.75m to 1.5mm. Hope that helps. |

I bought my MTS rollers from dermal integrity
(http://www.dermalintegrity.com/dermaroller.html), and I wish I did that a long time ago. They are much sharper & less painful.
The site is affiliated with Dr. Lance Setterfield, who wrote the "bible" of dermal needling (Concise Guide to Dermal Needling). |

Where are all the folks who used to post? The older posts are so full of information and interaction.
I have a My-M dermapen and a few regular rollers. The Derminator sounds interesting felixia. What type of treatment serums are you using with the derminator? |
