What exactly are jojoba esters?

I want to make a lotion and include jojoba oil in it. I just recently started reading about jojoba esters, and the similar nature it has to skin. Is using unrefined jojoba oil (from lotioncrafters) going to provide exactly the same benefits as using jojoba esters? If not, where can I get jojoba esters to mix in with my lotion?

Wikipedia defines esters as an interesterification of jojoba oil. What is that?

I wondered about that, also, after reading your post re glycerin. (on Skin Care and Makeup) I find that jojoba oil is really kinda waxy, so I just presumed that jojoba ester was just a *chunky* hydrogenated version of the oil itself.
