Hi,

First of all thank you all for this quality forum. I came across this recently and for couple of months this has been the most valuable source of information for me. Based on reviews and solid information here I bought a Lightstim infrared device and I'm loving it.

I came across this laser / infrared product called Renew Me Laser Lift:
renew-me. com.au/ renew_me_laser_lift/

(remove spaces from link, this won't allow new users to add links. I'm sorry if I violate forum rules, but I want to ask about this specific product)

Here's a video of the lady behind the product showing how to use it and talking about it:
youtube: /watch?v=f0I_JeAZ7Jg

Are there other lasers out there like this? Seems very different than the Lightstim I'm using even though both use red light. She uses it very short time per area and it seems to be more like an actual laser instead of light bulps. Also it uses some sort of electroshock thing in combination to do some tightening to the muscles or whatever, and you can adjust the voltage of this too.

Is this product one of a kind or are there others like this?

Ps. The lady in the video has very impressive pictures of herself before she started her light therapy + face exercise + natural skin care products regime. I recommend to check her out her face exercises too, she is very knowledgeable and scientific about them. She says they can be more effective and long lasting than a surgical facelift, and her face speaks for itself too Smile

I just came across this on her website. She had clinical trials done for her product, the results are posted on her site:

This is very interesting, thanks! Coincidentally I was just reading a book about using low level laser therapy (LLLT) or cold lasers for treating health issues like carpel tunnel and pain, but it didn't occur to me that it could be used for the face. After looking into it a bit more, it seems like even though it's a little different than the normal LED light therapy, the effects on the body are pretty much the same so if you already have LED, it might be redundant.

I laughed at your description of the "electro-shock" part of the device. Laughing Laughing That's microcurrent! There are a lot of EDS threads on it if you do a search. There's really no shock because the current is so low. In fact, many people complain they don't know if it's working because they can't feel a thing! Very Happy

Yeah, electroshocks x) I am a total newbie, but I'm learning Smile

I was in contact with the lady in the video and she said the same thing about the LLLT that if I'm already using a LED device with red light and am getting results from it, she encouraged using it and save some money Smile

I'm just starting these face-yoga exercises now, and this seems to be well discussed here too, got to look into it.

Thanks for the reply!
