Hi,
I need some advice and pointers as to what has gone wrong with my serum.
I used this recipe:-
1 tsp L-AA
1 tsp Aloe Vera
1 tsp Jojoba oil
3 tsp distilled water
1/8tsp Ferulic acid
1/4 tsp Vitamin E oil
1/4 Vodka
I made this 11 days ago.
I had ordered my PH test strips but they've taken 2 weeks to arrive, so I have just tested the serum. It tested a PH level of 1!
What has gone wrong & what should I change to bring it to a PH level 3, when making my next batch?
I want it at 15% serum.
Many thanks in advance for any replies.

Hi there, Thank you for the info.
Unfortunately I am in the UK so it would cost me a lot in shipping etc from lotioncrafter.
I wish I lived in the USA.You have a better range than here in the UK.
The recipe I followed was Kassy's recipe.
I have measuring spoons that I completely level off with a knife, so it is exact.
So I've just assumed that the PH level would be right.
Would adding more water help or baking soda?
Thank you in advance.Really appreciated. |
