I was following this girls 10% tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate oil i wanted to use it around my eyes as im starting to get fine lines (im 25). I started a few nights ago my ingredients are jojoba oil, vitamin e, q10 and the tetra. Not sure why my skin feels itchy though, are any of the ingredients in this meant to irritate like that? Im considering making another formula just the jojoba and tetra to try work out whats irritating me.

Does anyone have some advice? I tried Medik8 tetra c but that had a fragrance oil in i think it was lemon oil and i really didnt feel ok putting that on and i think it made my lines look worse after one night. Cant see many other options out there for tetra c. My skin doesnt enjoy l'ascorbic acid so that's out of the picture, too drying and irritating. I want something thats going to help these lines. What else can i do?

Thanks.

Q10 is quite irritating when used around 1%. I imagine around eyes it takes even less to lead to some itching.
10% tetrahexyldecyl C is also not a low concentration by any means either, it might be a combination of both that upsets your skin.
I would try Q10 and teta-C separately in your base formula to find out which one is the culprit and adjust accordingly.
