I am looking to buy a high frequency machine, mainly for home use but I will also use it on friends and family.

I don't know what brands to look for and specs. Does anyone know some top brand names for high frequency?

If you haven't already, you may want to take a look at this thread as most share what high frequency device they are using:

I have the Palacia and love it. Jellen is the other high end brand most people here have. Palacia is the same specs, little cheaper.

I had a professional high frequency device but never really used it so traded it in for a Dermawand instead (it just took up allot of room) before purchasing the professional device consider this. If you end up interested in a portable device the two top brands are Dermawand and Oxylift.

How much smaller is the Dermawand? My HF machine is pretty small, it fits in a box the size of a large book.

I'm not to sure but allot of EDS members have written about how they find the smaller size quite useful when travelling, so I'm assuming theres a big difference.

I am having a hard time finding one sold in Canada.

I got mine in the mail a few days ago and am quite surprised at the size of this device, it really is quite small, but powerful at the same time (I had a professional unit so am used to the feeling).

I bought mine off eBay for $70.00AUD and there are quite a few other sellers, you should be able to find one that posts to Canada. Smile

I just went to take a quick look and there is one being sold from China. I don't think I can trust that. I prefer to buy the product in Canada to save on shipping charges.

Mine came from China and has had no issues. You could purchase it under Paypals buyer protection policy so if it is fake all you have to do is send it back. I also got my FaceMaster from China and it works perfectly as well.

I'm okay if one of the devices is a fake, so far both devices have felt the exact way they should feel when being used. This depends on different peoples preferences though.

Tonya Zavasta promotes a brand I haven't heard much about on EDS. The Paragon Garfield (I think Confused ). I would love to have a professional model.

There is alot out in the market these days, most of them are from china so its really hard to filter out which is actually a quality product. I bought high frequency machine called the Lift Wand from Amazon and was quite pleased by it since it also came with a bottle argan oil.

I find the dermawand works quite well for my purposes, specifically it helps drastically improve monthly hormonal chin 'activity' that pops up for me whenever I've had a stressful month. I also use it around eye area and lip area to help plump skin up when I think about it. I can't imagine spending money on another HF device.

I was looking at the Derma Wand, but liked the look of the other HF Machines on the market with the various attachments. I started with an inexpensive HF Machine with 4 wands, and upgraded to a professional model with 7 NEON attachments from New Spa with 200,000 cycles per second ($139 Amazon - High Frequency D'arsonval Professional Grade Device with Neon Electrodes
by NEW SPA High Frequency Facials).

I can tell the difference in the machines (cheap & professional), and would recommend a professional type model for home use.

I have the Palacia device http://www.amazon.com/dp/B005CXAST8/ref=asc_df_B005CXAST82788708?smid=AHF0W2R7SPMST&tag=pgmp-717-97-20&linkCode=asn&creative=395133&creativeASIN=B005CXAST8

I think it's a good product. I've put it on the shelf a bit - using microcurrent and a Merbe but I get it out about once a week and use it. My kids use it for their facial issues - acne etc. I think it's a good device.
Check out Tonia Zavasta - she uses a HF and loves and believes in it and this woman is au naturelle.
