Hi, I wondered if anyone could help me? I recently bought a second AALS from ebay. I was really pleased coz i thought Id gotten a great deal. As soon as I turned it on I noticed a difference! it didnt bleep as my usual one does and the on/off button doesnt spring back to its resting place, rather it remains pressed in.Another difference is this AALS doesnt bleep after 3 mins. I also noticed goggles included in my new box. The cable to my new AALS is different too. The devices look the same size and design same position and colour of lights. The logo looks the same only printed a bit lighter. I bought both devices from ebay so i knew i was taking a risk but as my first one worked great I wanted a second one to save time. Have i been ripped off? I am hoping so much it is an authentic model and that the devise has changed over time? I have bought both of them a few weeks apart.would be greatful for any answers as I can find nothing online to compare fake/authentic lightstim devices. Thanks.

Hard to say, have you've compared photos online of yours versus the ones pictured on the actual Lightstim website? About two years ago I bought a flat iron off of Ebay, thinking it was legit, turns out it was not. Looked so much like it though. Now I am leery of buying off of there for certain things. Especially gadgets and such.

Hi whitewolf, yes, I have compared pictures and it does look the same, and up until now, it also seems to be working well on my skin and generating the same amount of heat. I am starting to think that it may be legit.I just wish I knew for sure coz it could be dangerous. Your so right about ebay. Like you with the flat iron I also got sent fake elemis products.I should of known better this time round. I wont be purchasing many items from there again coz its not worth the stress and hassle.
