Just bought the pycnogenol toner.

Will let you all know how that goes.

On another note, I just found a book entirely on pycnogenol. I wanted to share it with others: http://books.google.com/books?id=a8Kvw1nmcy0C&pg=PA59&dq=pycnogenol+skin&hl=en&sa=X&ei=hkhdUsy9Mu3wyAH8w4HQCg&ved=0CEgQ6AEwAA#v=onepage&q=pycnogenol%20skin&f=false

I haven't read the book in its entirety, so I can't really give a solid review. But my initial impression was favorable.

He must be really fascinated by pycnogenol to write 3 books about it.

Btw, if you do decide to get the toner, get it from Vitacost, iHerb, or Swanson--they offer the lowest price that I've seen so far ($10.85 USD). They also offer free shipping for minimum purchase amounts. Use RetailMeNot.com to find coupon codes.

Just got the toner in the mail. Used it for the first time today.

It's a pretty gentle toner--I noticed very little irritation. Very soothing.

It has no artificial colorants or fragrance, so it's a brownish color and smells somewhat plantlike/chemical-like.

Time will tell how this product will affect my hyperpigmentation and blotchy skin.

I'll be looking forward to your review. The brownish color comes from the pycnogenol. Any product that has enough pycnogenol to do any good will be that color so this is a good thing. I also found the toner to be very gentle and had absolutely no complaints with it. I don't have any kind of hyperpigmentation issues or blotchy skin so I didn't see any results in that way. But I did like the toner.

Did you notice any changes in your skin at all from using this product?

I will take a look at that thread. I didn't notice any changes in my skin but my skin is actually very good. Not much to "change". It didn't take away the two lines underneath my eyes but I didn't expect it to of course. Those are the main issue I'm trying to "change" on my skin.

I've been using Derma E's pycnogenol toner on-and-off for several weeks now.

I really hate to say this, but I don't think it's much to write home about. I had high hopes for the product--due to the many rave reviews on the Web.

Yet, I didn't see a significant improvement in my skin from it. At this point, I am considering formulating my own toner.

I really wish that I could have given a better review of this toner--because I was so excited about it.

I'm quite excited about pycnogenol. Life extension has a great blog on the myriad benefits.

I'm taking the Pycnogenol by Pharmanord:

I fell for the hype about pycnogenol and got the Derma-E topical and the Life Extension supplement. I finished the whole jar of Derma-E, using is on face, neck, and chest, and saw no improvement. However, I discovered did make an excellent primer, diminishing pores and making my Jane Iredale PPB foundation last longer, which is why I finished it. I have several little red veins on my face (I'm prone to rosacea), and I was hoping the Derma-E Pycnogenol would help with those because of reviews, but I experienced zero improvement. As for the LE supplements, I'm halfway through the bottle and have seen zero effect. I wish I had done more research, because I regret the purchases. Neutral
