I'm using the same basic routine as when I started, but rotate more products.
AM: Wash with water. Apply Recovery Minerals or a quality MMU as SS. The one I recommend is called "Beauty Bliss Mineral Foundation". Really simple formula, but gives a nice healthy glow and is affordable ($13/30g).
PM: Wash with F/B bar, alternating with another 302 cleanser
I apply actives on a rotating basis. It's not a rigid schedule. The basic rules are not to apply the same active 2 days straight, not to apply any active more than 2x/week, and when possible let the skin rest a couple days a week by not applying anything. The products you use will be specific to your skin and issues. I'm 61, have normal skin, so I use the regular (not Rx) line. For ex:
Day 1: 302 drops or serum
Day 2: A Boost
Day 3: C Boost or Lightening Drops
Day 4: Rest
Day 5: 302 drops or serum
Day 6: Clarity
Day 7: Rest or optional C Boost or Lightening Drops
Every other day: Eye gel on eyes and throat
As needed: Calming mist to moisturize
I like to mix it up and change out 302 products every few weeks. For example, I sometimes just use 302 Plus Serum 3x/wk and that's it. No other actives. I've found that changing the regimen jolts the skin into action, prevents fatigue, and skin * spam alert * to any one product. I haven't tried the ceramide yet. I think that's next to try.
Oh, I also take 1 Avogen capsule before bedtime. That is probably the most important thing in my skincare regimen. |
