I want to make a face serum in a 30ml bottle.

I want to use the following:

20% vit c powder
2% Salicylic acid powder

How many grams would i require of ea ch?

You should make 2 different serums.
Besides being very irritating, the Salicylic acid would destabilize the C.

Isn't 20% Vit. C a lot? I think the most I've seen was like 15%, and even that tells you to work up slowly.

A lot? No..only if you have sensitive skin or have not acclimated your skin to it.

Most people that have been using it a while do tend to use 20%. It's normal..If you look around at the multitude of Vit C serums sold commercially you will see that the vast majority of these serums claim to be 20%.
But more than 20% is not recommended or considered better ...and less than 10% is not considered very effective.
