Do we have any Microcurrent experts on here? I've got early stages of Macular Degeneration (way too young and doctors are baffled). It's been suggested by naturpath docs to try Microcurrent for the eyes, using an eye mask such as this:

http://www.firstalternativetherapies.com/store/p102/Self_Adhesive_Conductive_Gel_Pads_-_Eye_Mask%2C_1%2Fpk.html

I already own a Pico-Toner machine but unsure if it'll fit with this mask. HealingtheEye.com sells Avazzia brand units but I can't tell what the differences are between models, etc.

Any experts out there that can help? I emailed Neurotis this morning as well, hoping to avoid buying a new machine.

Hi Whitewolf,
Sorry - I'm not an expert, but reading your post I wanted to let you know...
15 years ago I used a microcurrent machine to do facials on my Mum, and she experienced an improvement in her eyesight (which was generally poor, and had catarracts, but not MD). The improvement was verified by her hospital tests. We told the specialist about the microcurrent facials, and she said 'stick with it - it's obviously helping in some way'. So, that was 15 years ago, when they were not aware of its benefits and there was no specific eye mask like your link - which I think looks really good.

Hopefully someone with more actual knowledge will answer too, as I'm really interested in anything that will now improve MY eyesight!
What kind of machine would I need to fit the eye mask you show?

Good Luck

P.S. the machine I used back then was called Integra. A UK brand, that isn't made anymore. It uses 2 Q-Tips to conduct the current. I still have the machine, but it's getting a bit worn out now as the internal battery doesn't hold charge for long. Want to buy a new machine - so would get soemthing that would fit the eye mask.

Thanks for your post. Smile

I spoke to NeurotriS and she gave me some tips on using my Pico-Toner around the eyes. Also decided to just order the Avazzia with eye mask. Got my vitamins in from HealingTheEye and taking those.

In my case, it all boils down to digestion because I was on Zantac for so long. Now I'm seeing a Naturpath and changing my lifestyle, eating choices, etc. I've gotta clean up my liver and the HealtingTheEye vitamins have great stuff in them including Milk Thistle.

Fingers crossed...I can improve my vision. Smile

This is great news! I had perfect vision which was recently ruined from these computer screens, I hate wearing glasses. Going to try my clareblend to help.

I'm also going try capsule form of peptides called: Cytomax Visoluten N20. I also take Bilberry (for glare) and Life Extension MacuGuard Ocular Support Plus Astaxanthin.

Been reading about how to reverse this and/or improve general eye health. Surprisingly, melatonin is helpful and need an HDL level of 61. Had mine tested, it's super low, so trying stuff like Ox Bile and a 5-seed blend oil by Panaseed.

Here's the article about it:

I don't have MD, I'm just nearsighted. I hope my baby quasar doesn't damage eyes.
