Hi Judy,
I didn't suggest a serum but did mention Joico's new silk result flat ironing protection spray. It both protects your hair and makes it feel silky soft and I couldn't rave enough about the stuff.
Give it a try you have nothing to lose if it is bought from a salon and you don't like it simply return it.
They try to sell you the shampoo and conditioner that goes with the line but I personally didn't care for it. I just stick with the spray now and find it works amazing for my thick super curly hair with lots of frizzies lol.

| I'll have to have a look at that one. I know that GHD makes oils especially for use with their ceramic irons so that might be another option... |

I use the -- G3 Salon Pro, it's great because it has tourmaline ceramic plates which causes less damage to the hair, works for every hair type, you can also make curls with it and leaves my hair soft, shiny and super straight. I love it! I totally recommend it ! is the best  |

I had a G3 Salon Pro but upgraded to the Salon Series styling iron and I use it to curl under my pin straight hair but I concentrate mainly on lifting my crown. I wash my hair approx every 4 days and always apply the Pro Naturals Moroccan argan oil to my damp hair before heat styling. No heat damage but shiny hair w/o split ends. |

| I really like my FH1 flat iron. Heats quickly and has a good range of temperature controls. |
