Another question, If I use gel when I use Nuface. Do I need to wash my face after I finished using Nuface. Because I think Gel would stop or effect the next cosmetic to be absorbed into my skin! Or should I use serum instead of gel? But that would be very painful without gel... Really want to know this! Thanks!!!

Is anybody bought Nuface from EDS? Thanks

The NuFace Trinity is the latest model. I did not buy my NuFace from EDS however they have it listed around the same price I bought mine. Here is the link http://www.essentialdayspa.com/nuface-trinity---white-p_14414.htm

Definitely wash the gel off after you finish your treatment. A lot of people find the NuFace gel causes breakouts so washing before and after is important.

That is why I am asking whether I can use serum instead of gel.
Firstly, I would definitely not use the gel from Nuface.
Secondly, someone suggests me to use aloe vera gel instead of Nuface gel. However,as I know, whatever what kind of gel, they all block other cosmetic to be absorbed into the ski.
So I am wondering should I only use serum ? But serum is water, I am afraid it will dry soon and make my skin painful from the current!!! Confused now!!!!!What I should do now!!!

I have interest about this one
http://www.essentialdayspa.com/nuface-advanced-facial-to-p_14396.htm

Because I found many people said the trinity broke easily!
I am in Canada, if I ordered the classic one from Nuface official website, Canadian official will charge me tons of duty fees I guess Confused

I have been using the Nu Face Trinity for @ 4 weeks and could see results after the first few sessions. My husband was so impressed he started using it and his results were visible from day one. I got it from the Nu Face company website. I am 60 but look much younger and my husband is 65 and looks @ 45 but has bags under his eyes.

My main issues are neck/jowls, under eye hollowness and marionette lines (much less than women my age but there are there nevertheless. Since using, the hollowness on the right eye is almost gone(I sleep more on my left side) and I do not use the device above the peri-orbital bone.

The marionette line and little line at the bottom of my right lip are virtually gone. The jowls area is tighter on both sides and my eyebrows are higher on both sides.

I use the advanced techniques that came in the brochure with the device as well as the normal ones. I also use it on my upper forearms and have seen and can feel a noticeable tightening there as well!

I listened to a on-line seminar Nu Face had and they said using it for more than 2 beeps can tire the muscle and end up having the opposite effect. They said the ones in salons are stronger and because you aren't doing it everyday they can ramp it up and hold it longer but since Nu Face is meant to be used 5 days a week until you get your desired results or plateau, and then 2-3 times per week, DO NOT KEEPIT IN ONE PLACE FOR MORE THAN TWO BEEPS!!!

I am now researching the Quasar product versus the LED add-on for the Trinity. My instinct says the Quasar MD would be better than an add-on but interested in any feedback. Also I am debating and researching galvanic devices and/or micro needling.

Other devices I use that work for me are the Dermawand - especially for a temporary eye-lift, Clarisonic cleansing and eye-serum units and the Nu Brillance Dermabrasion unit (husband uses that too) which I think is good and makes a difference. I use that @ 3 times a week and a Philosophy micro-bead exfoliator a couple of times a week. I recently got the Palovia Fraxel davice but I wanted to se what effect these had before I threw another device in the mix.

Thanks for the info tymbuktu. That makes sense. I wonder if it holds true for the FaceMaster as well. In Suzanne Somer's tutorial she says she holds for 20 or 30 seconds for tougher areas. I have not had any trouble holding longer but it does make sense just like overworking muscles with exercise.

I wish I could say the same... I'm impressed with your results! I've been using NuFace Trinity for only 9 consecutive days and so far I don't see any results.
I was using the advanced techniques and keeping it in place for 6 beeps Crying or Very sad I hope I didn't mess up. My MAJOR area of concern is marionette lines. They're very pronounced so I have little hope of improvement in that area.

This morning I woke up with a face slightly red and the skin under my eyes is crepey... Maybe I should not use NuFace every day?

I don't remember diagrams for use under the eyes, are you using it there, or is it just crepey by reacting from general use on the face?

No, Toby, I did not use it under the eyes, just general use. I reread the user manual but I didn't see how often to use it. Do you think every day is too much?

I have done the Nuface daily since Nov. of 2011. I don't routinely do the advance techniques because I have other microcurrent devices for foundational work but I do use it with the basic gliding motion for 2-5 min. I have never had any redness nor sensitivity. I use the natural gel they make or aloe. My skin can take daily use and I just reviewed the video and it says daily use.....BUT if your skin is red and you look worse the next day then I would lower the intensity and try every other day. Also make sure it is not the gel(reaction to it) causing the problem.

Thank you for the advise Toby. I stopped using the gel in the green tube that came with Nuface and for the past 2-3 days I used Aloe Vera. I'm taking a break today and tomorrow and use it Mon.
I bought NuFace back in Jan. the day after it arrived I fell and fractured my shoulder so I couldn't use it till 10 days ago when some mobility of my arm was restored. If it doesn't work for me I can no longer return it. Bummer Mad

The NuFace gel caused this kind of reaction with me. I switched to an aloe gel and it was fine.

They do recommend using it at least 5 days a week.

Looking for advice using NuFace Trinity.
I've mentioned before that under eye area is crepey, lines more pronouced and skin hanging with the use of NuFace Trinity.
I started using it on March 19th, after 10 consecutive days of use I thought my face looked worse, especially the under eye area. I was hoping that skin imperfections were coming up to the surface to be treated and persisted in using NuFace but I cut down to 5X a wk.
Now I think my skin is brighter but my under eye area is definitely worse.
I have watched the video several times, I've followed directions and used both regular and advanced techniques.
I should mention that I am 69, have jowls and marionette lines rather pronounced. I wasn't expecting miracles but I didn't expect to make more damage either.
I can't even return my NuFace because after I received Jan. 8Th I shattered my shoulder, had a shoulder replacement and it was only in March that I had some mobility in my arm.
Has anyone else had similar results? What can I do differently?

You may have done this but if not, I would contact the Nuface Company and ask to speak to someone with hands on experience with the over 50 age group. I have called the company and gotten help from experienced people. Your situation sounds unique and we all have that sometimes, but usually a company is set up to help in that way. Also due to your accident they may offer some type of refund if the device is not appropriate for you. Am I remembering from some previous conversations that you have had under eye surgery? If so,that is important information to convey when talking to the company. If I have you confused with someone else, forgive me, I have had lots of contact with people with chronic undereye issues through the Easy Eye solutions thread.

Yes, I have had eye surgery, both upper and under lids. Eye bags are gone but skin looks old...
