Hi Everyone
I recently visited a laser clinic in hopes of doing something for my dark circles. Ive been struggling with it for years and nothing has helped. My initial thought was that I would get some laser treatments.
When I got there the therapist did an assessment and advised that I would need the laser treatment and microneedling (something I haven't done before) and 2 weeks later I would need a fruit acid peel at 30% to start. So all in all each month would have one of each treatment and I would need 8 to 10 treatments in total
She did say that this would be for my whole face and not just my dark circles as my uneven skin tone will be corrected.
Im happy to hear that my uneven skin tone can be improved but my concern is the fruit acid peel. Im really scared that this is going to do more damage for my skin as currently im using a 5% lactic acid lotion which im still mixing with a moisturizer as im quite sensitive and trying to work my way up. Ive never had any peels done before.
Do I really need all these treatments for my skin concerns? Would doing Laser and microneedling every 2 weeks not work instead?
Thanks in advance for all the help |

I think you need to ascertain the *cause* of your dark circles (if you haven't already), such as:
* Eye puffiness/bags under eyes - which can cast a "shadow" under eyes making the skin here appear darker.
* Hyperpigmentation - excess pigment in the skin under the eye.
* Vascular issues - either an excess of blood vessels an/or skin here is thinner than average so that it casts a blue or reddish tint that can be seen through the skin.
* Also possible: Allergies - (which can cause all of the above).
Once you have figured out the cause, you can address with the appropriate treatment. I have some suggestions in that regard, but I'd like to hear what you have to say first.
As to your therapist's recommendations... In general, I would say it seems you went there specifically for treatment of your dark circles. While the other stuff the therapist recommends sounds interesting and potentially beneficial for you overall, I would personally probably say "Hey, let's treat my dark circles first and then if I see good results I would be more than open to getting all this other stuff."
But that's just me. I would want my main issue resolved before I start plunking down tons of cash on other things I may not want or need right now. I would want to see results first. |

Im not 100% sure but i think its because of allergies. Sinus specifically. Why im not 100% is because it came up with sinus but my sinuses are much better now yet its still there |

I don't know how laser, acid peel and skin needling can treat dark circles, I assume they are right under the eye area.
