...and have you seen results? +

It seems to me that firming is the most difficult issue to address. There are plenty of products that SUCCESSFULLY address breakouts, discoloration, flakiness, redness, dullness, dryness and even fine lines and wrinkles, but attempting to firm and/redensify the skin is another matter all together. Ingredients like vitamin C, ALA, ceramides, coq10, DMAE, matrixyl, growth hormones, peptides, retinol, etc claim to help, but (with the exception of retinol used long-term) I haven't seen any convincing evidence that the skin can actually be firmed and sagging reversed with topical ingredients.

Having said that, I recently read a professional review of Clinique's sculptwear serum that was persuasive and I know there are plenty of people who love Perricone products.

Have you used anything that you swear by? What about LED lights, lasers, massage, micro needle rollers, facial exercises and/or micro current devices like NuFACE or ReFa S Carat?

Please share! TIA!

I don't believe any topical can really directly address sagging...although I do think it can repair and delay (over time) some of the factors that cause it and make ones skin look fuller, more toned and younger..As can LED and dermarolling..

Of course, it can do nothing to truly mimic the loss of fat pads or bone loss. Nothing can..Not even injections or surgery or implants can either or we would see more rich 60 year olds that could afford it all from the very best that could pass for 20.

As far as sagging itself I've had the most luck with microcurrent, Radio frequency and face exercises. Sometimes pretty significant. Especially the jaw line and neck.
I haven't tried laser so I can't speak for that.

I use the Nuface pro toning system with all my anti aging serum and the results are incredible! I do not use it with the Nuface connector gel because I do not like the toxic ingredients in it so I use it with the organic serums that I use on a daily basis and it works very well.

Another vote for NuFace, it is really firming stuff nicely.

Facial exercises can also help, require patience.

I do not think topicals are much help to be honest...

I just ordered this (Nuface) today. Will let you know if I see anything. My face is good but my underarm sagginess is starting and if this can help it would be great.

I don't use any devices, but I do use a couple products that for me have shown long term firming results. I've tried cutting them out of my routine, either out of laziness or for financial purposes. But I always go back to them because I start to see a visible change in my skin for the worse after a few weeks of not using them.

I couldn't be without the DMAE Gel & Vitamin C Serum from PSF. For some reason those are 2 products that keep my skin looking firm & lifted & younger. Plus the Vitamin C is a great antioxidant treatment as well.

Also on a side note, I follow Psfskincare on instagram. A couple weeks ago they posted amazing before & after photos of a woman who had their "Red Carpet Facial" which is some treatment that uses their DMAE Gel together with an anti-aging peel from their professional line. The results are AMAZING! I emailed them yesterday to see if they could suggest a spa in my area that offers this service.

Here's the link to their instagram post in case anyone is interested:

I now use NUFACE twice a week and LED therapy twice a week and get excellent results. I found this new LED system kit yesterday that includes 4 differents lights and 1 free Vitamin C serum.

What do you notice that the LED does for your skin? I'm reading mixed reviews about LED but am very intrigued.

I just got the Nuface device. I do not feel much when it is on? I used their gel but would like to use something else (it does not seem interesting ingredients). What have people used? It may help actives penetrate?

I have used SBC colagen gel, many use Aloe Vera gel. I started investigating alternatives after my skin reaction to nuface gel...If using one of the more expensive ones, would recommend you use mask brush.

I did feel much with Nuface, specially forehead. I guess it shows we are all different Smile

I really haven't had much success addressing firming with topicals. Even with retinoids.

I have a little divot in my cheek that drives me crazy. The skin there is starting to show the signs of aging; you know, fragile looking. Not plump. I tried dermarolling with no measurable success, and I love my Nuface for lift, but that also didn't do anything to firm the area and, in fact, it only seemed to accentuate the spot because the lifting effect of the microcurrent kind of leans out my lower face (which is already thin.)

LED made the biggest difference. LED really does plump and firm the skin; initially the effects are only superficial and temporary, but they are followed by long term benefits with regular use.

To chime in on the NuFace conductive gel, it made me break out horribly. I tried Lily of the Desert 99% aloe and that doesn't break me out, but it is a little irritating. Sadly.

Right now, I'm using Lightstim's Photomasque as a conductive gel, and it works amazingly well. Leaves my skin very soft and hydrated. I do sort of hope I manage to find something else, though, because at $50 a pop, it's pricey for a mere conductive agent.

I've also had serums work. Serums which are mostly HA. With that kind of gloppy, watery egg white texture. I think any kind of gelatinous product that thoroughly coats the skin and doesn't dry rapidly would be effective. I've even used water while I'm in the shower with success.

I am using aloe with the Nuface now. A question I noticed one side of my face where I used the Nuface
is a bit red and raw. I did not notice this immediately after I used it. Has anyone else seen this? I am using it on my upper arm flaps too soon to notice any effect.

Hmmm... Side of face red and raw sounds more like reaction to gel?
I notice redness and pain on the parts when I have a pimple (even before it shows up) or if I manage to cut the skin... Also I avoid Nuface for 1 day after dermarolling.
With a pimple, I put some vaseline around it and than gel and then work with Nuface. Vaseline stops microcurrent, so works well.

LOTS OF PEPTIDES, LED, NUFACE, PREFER PRODUCTS WITH MINIMUM 70% ORGANIC INGREDIENTS IN IT.

I AM A SKIN CARE ADDICT AND MY SKIN HAS NO WRINKLES, I ALSO EAT SUPER HEALTHY, NO SODAS, NO JUNK FOOD AND JUICE A LOT. A SKIN PEEL ONCE A WEEK WILL ALSO HELP REMOVE DEAD CELLS AND LET SERUMS PENETRATE DEEPER INTO THE SKIN.

FACE YOGA IS GREAT TOO!

CLARISONIC Smart Profile with Firming massage head

This seems to be working for me. I have used it for 3 weeks and noticed my nasolabial folds are improving.

hi, that is a really good question!
in fact I do not think breakout, dullness, dryness, etc are easier to tackle, even you have all these issue but firm skin, you still look young,
to be exervise maybe most important, I have noticed people who exercise a lot all have firm skin all over their body and look much younger.
