Hello!

Recently I've been very interested in Asian skincare products and so I started reading blogs and recommended products reviews day & night LOL. I wanted to try a DIY vitamin c serum recipe from a blogger & that's when I came across this site. I hit the jackpot Very Happy

. So much inf but my only concern is that I might have found it late (seems it was much more active some years back).

About me:
I am a 38 yr old hispanic. My skin is sensitive, combo dry/oily t-zone (I think my skin is dehydraded), dark undereyes, mild rosacea, a few pimples usually around that time of the month, Dr. Baumann skin type DSPW. Hoping to get a better understanding of DIY & better understanding on how to care for my skin & slow aging (just a lil).

My name is Kate and I am married with a lovely daughter. We live in Canada. Skincare has always been a passion of mine and I started creating my own organic and natural skin care formulations (with added actives and peptides) and eventually all of my friends and family wanted me to make them some as they noticed a significant improvement on my skin. So I started my own skin care line. I have lots of information and tips that I hope will be of value or help to this wonderful forum. I have read many posts and look forward to sharing and getting to know you as well learning from your experiences.

So, I was looking up ways to clean and recycle old makeup compacts, jars, tubes, etc, and had happened into the forum during my quest.

Often times, we (collectively) either are inable to shop, irl or otherwise. More often than not, too, some of us don't have the funds to consistently invest in quality makeup. I'm in both situations, currently.

I'll be reading through the forum and checking the site for suggestions and ideas on various beauty tips.

I recently cut about six inches off of my hair and, yes(!), it has helped to make significant strides away from the inevitable seasonal depression and allergies.

I appreciate the topics here and look forward to being as active as possible.
