| Online reviews of this brand are controversial. I can see why. My skin is combination with breakouts in the chin from time to time. I have used only two products of this brand, and they all work for me. So I guess the brand is good for certain skin type. |

SKII Facial Treatment Essence
I have to say that this is the best skincare product (excluding those facial medicine) I have ever used for controlling oil and breakouts.
My face becomes cleaner and less oily after using this product. Sometimes when I found that new acne is going to come out, I apply a thick layer of this product on the place. It would definitely reduce the amount of breakouts. |

SK-II
Power Brightening Specialist
It has some effect brightening my face, though nothing magic. At least, it is better than many other products which make my face oily and yellowish. |

Some summary
I feel SKII is good for combination or oily skin, because the two products I have used are all kind of dry. In contrast, Valmont serums are a lot more effective moisturizing dry skins. I cannot use SKII products during cold winter when my skin is already very dry. |

Some face brightening products
SKII Facial Treatment Mask
I remembered that I have used one several years ago. I did not see anything magic of this mask, though it is expensive. Other people may different opinions. |

Kose SEKKISEI Lotion
This is the best product I have ever used for brightening face. Nothing else can work for my tanned face. In fact, if you keep using this everyday on the scars, the lotion can reduce the appearance of the scars.
One warning is that similar to another Japanese brand SKII, Kose lotion is not good for dry or even normal skin. |

Kose Emulsion
I often got samples of Kose emulsion when buying Kose lotion. Unfortunately, the emulsion is nothing compared to Kose lotion. It is useless. No wonder the brand always gives emulsion as samples or free gifts. |

Kose paper lotion mask
I highly recommend Kose mask to go with its lotion. The mask is the best one I have ever used. It is very lotion saving, and just a small amount of water can pop the mask up, in contrast to many other brands' paper masks that can absorb a lot of water. I use Kose lotion mask together with expensive lotion products. |

I got samples many times. A useless product without any whitening effect. |

SKII facial treatment gentle cleanser
I almost forgot this product of SKII. I was glad that I used a sample only. I do not like it, because it does not produce enough foam and can cause allergy when my skin is not in condition. I like Shiseido cleaners, which has a strong cleaning power. |

i like their mask. it works and it is 10x more powerful than their signature "magic water" |

Remember to fully hydrate your skin before use it, especially for dry skin type.
I got opened pores for wet dressing it once, I was so scared!!! The BA told me it because I did't hydrate my skin before using it. |

i am using a SKII dupe at the moment. It works similar to SKII at the fraction of the price. Getting beautiful translucent skin like Cate Blanchett  |

What do you mean hydrate your skin - what do you use to hydrate and how do you apply it? |

| I have been using the FTE for a good few years now. This is the only product I stick and it seems to soften my skin and gives it a continuous glow. I use it after my toner and the. I would apply moisturiser and sunscreen. It fits into whatever brand I change to. |

I have used the SKII Japanese version, I have normal skin, not too dry or oily and never have any breakout..
I like this essece, it make your complexion much much brighter.
SKII mask: this seem to be a concentrated version of the essence, it is very effective, it will make your look very healthy, bright and minimize pores. |

| The latest luxurious version (not LXP) of facial treatment essence is fabulous. Skin is more bright and hydrated than ever. But it cost More than double comparing to the normal version. |
