Hello,

I am posting this question since I have searched the Internet and have not been able to find anything about my problem.

Occasionally and recently in an increasing manner I have had come across with things that resemble blackheads on my body skin. They seem to be tiny yet deep and when I squeeze them there seems to be a hole, which in a short period of time fills with dirt/black thing again. For instance, there is one on my side of the belly.
The strange thing, however, is that I am getting to have some more on my chest; they seem to be impossible to get rid of. Furthermore, when I squeeze these tiny things, I see little vessel like white tubes coming out of the holes. They are not sebum I am sure; as I have said they seem to be blood vessels.
Does anyone know what these deep holes are and if they are blackheads what ways can I use in order to get rid of them? I will appreciate any help, thank you

Sounds like a blackhead, when you squeeze them you get puss coming out just like you do with a pimple but yet the are long. Why do you think it would be a blood vessels, thats a whole other subject?

I would try a 15% salicylic acid treatment a 2-3 times per week on the body. I get one at makeupartistschoice dot com Don't do it as frequently if you use it on your face though.

hi,

Thanks for your reply, I will try the salicylic acid as you have suggested.

Yet still, I think the thing coming out at the end of squeezing is some sort of vessel. I think so because it is like a tube (there is a hole in the thing that comes out) and it hurts when I try to pull it.

My mother-in-law has one of these on her shoulders. I think it is pore that just gets clogged up, essentially a black head. The little "tube" thing that comes out is super hard and long. I assume it is a damaged pore that keeps filling up with a comedome. Maybe there is some TCA treatments that will help build up the hole. I think Julie from Perfect Complexion mentioned something like that.

I had one on my hip, and it was definitely a big blackhead. After squeezing the plug out a couple of times and it filling right back up, I used an AHA lotion on it, which made it go away.

I know someone with these. It seems to come from not exfoliating the skin. The pores can get clogged from sweat and dead skin cells as wll as whatever you're using on your body. Also weight loss can help if it's in the folds of your skin when you sit down (like in between the rolls - I know everyone has some rolls but I mean excessive)

yes, i have only one of these ,on the back of my shoulder!

when you try to squeeze it, the hole indents kind of....!
i finally managed to squeeze the hard plug out, with a black tip,and it left a hole there, but it just came back again!

would a spot dab with 70% glycolic work???
would you have to squeeze it, then dab, or just dab over the black head unsqueezed and let it come out itself?

What worked for me was squeezing it out, then using ~8% AHA lotion daily after showering for a couple of months. I've gotten lazy since then, but it hasn't come back.
