Hi all,
I’m new to the forum.

I’m looking for help as my Dr and derm don’t seem to be able to.
About 3 months ago I developed strange dry (flaky)patches under my eyes. I think it was caused by over use of Elemis pro collagen cleansing balm in my eye area.
For a couple months I tried everything natural at home - coconut oil, olive oil, Vaseline, childs farm baby moisturiser but nothing worked and it was just getting worse and more inflamed. When I smile I have wrinkles where there weren’t any before.
I then went to the dr who gave me 1% hydrocortisone with fucidic acid. It had no affect after 2 weeks of morning and night application so they then moved me onto just the steroid cream. I’ve now been using that for 3 weeks with no change. The ‘wrinkles’ are very deep and very pronounced and have aged me considerably- especially as I had none before. Can anyone help/advise what would help?

If someone can help me figure out how to post picture, I will.

Thank you!

The only thing that helped me when I ended up with an excema-like rash and dry patches under my eyes was a GLA supplement. It wasn't instantaneous but it was effective.

GLA Skin Oil

Hope that helps some! Smile

Havana, did you take GLA only internally to get results or also applied externally?

I used it internally as a supplement, 1T in yogurt, but I know you can also apply it externally.

WOW! 1% hydrocortisone under the eyes just for dryness? What a dangerous and unnecessary recommendation.

I would use a low conc Vit C in the day and a ceramide product at night.
