I have been shaving my upper lip for about 5 years. I started when I was very self conscious of the hair on my upper lip. It all went well for a few weeks but soon I realized that I had to keep shaving it more often because it grew out stubbly. Worse off, the skin on my upper lip began to show a greenish undertone. I was shy about it so I didn't tell anyone. Anyone know any product that could help my condition? Would bleaching it make a difference or should I just try waxing it? HELP!

Most men shave every day for decades and don't end up with green upper lips. You should seek medical advice.

Are you using sunscreen? When you shave, your skin becomes more susceptible to sun damage so you could have sun damage or have triggered melasma in that area.

pls do not shave so often, if you do so, it will be harder and come out faster, that is inevitable, it happened with my eye brows.

Shaving doesn't make it grow faster/thicker, it simply makes that illusion because when you cut, the tip that is visible is thicker (the natural edges of hair get thinner in the end, like needles). When you cut it, the thicker core part is now the end thus making it look more visible. Maybe try laser?

Waxing at home is easy. Look for gentle strip wax kits for local chemists.

I'm going to recommend to you the ONLY FDA-approved method for permanent hair removal (lasers are FDA-approved for hair reduction contrary to popular belief).

Electrolyis.

Seeing a qualified electrologist is going to take care of that hairy Sasquatch for good.

You're welcome Smile
