Hi friends,
Long time no see.
I went to get fillers for my marionette lines a month ago and the plastic surgeon instead injected into my cheeks to lift the whole area up first. She injected nothing into my marionette lines.
While we were at it, I got a little filler (Volbella) put into my lips, too, which she accessed through the sides of my mouth. Now, much to my dismay, I have bruising right along the sides of my mouth, which aligns perfectly with my marionette lines, making the area look MUCH MUCH worse than before. It's been A MONTH and I've seen very little improvement.
The bruising went from dark blue to yellow and now is just kinda camping out. It's dark enough so I can't cover it with concealer.
Does anyone have any advice on how to fix this? I can find a lot of stuff on what to do about fresh bruises but since it's been a month, I'm not sure. Lasers? Supplements? Massages? I'm willing to try anything at this point. |

Hi,
I got restylane in my under eye area couple of years ago and I had bruised which did leave dark pigmentation for month or so. I went back to doctor who did my filler. He used some kind of laser to lift that pigmentation. He did it for free . It removed the discoloration in few weeks.
You can visit your surgeon and ask for options to dissolve this discoloration. All the best ! |

| Not sure if this would help, but possibly haloxyl which can lift blood pigmentation from under-eye circles. I purchase this ingredient and make a serum that I put under my eyes for extremely dark circles, and around my nose for small capillaries, and it does lessen the pigment I think. |

I’m sorry I don’t know the name . My doctor himself suggested it and told me that this laser will initially darken the area where laser rays have entered in and then slowly it will bring out the pigmentation and it will go away ..... if it makes any sense .
I never got any under eye restylane or any other filler again . I guess I was not impressed with results. |
