First off I just wanted to express the gratitude I have for finding this forum. I've been using OCM with jojoba and CO, as suggested by someone here, along with my homemade Dr. H cleanser, and carekate's ACV toner each with at least three of these oils: geranium, bergamot, lemon, and ylang ylang. I've also been using an aspirin mask once a week, vitamin C serum, homemade avocado lip balm, and homemade lip scrub. My entire face has *never* looked this good!!
My skin is always soft, smooth, and glowing. My blemishes are already clearing up significantly aside from a couple stubborn ones on my forehead and even my spider veins/broken capillaries that have been on my cheeks my entire life, seem to be fading ever so slightly. My lips are smooth and supple and seem to be bigger just from my balm and scrub! I am in awe at how beautiful my skin looks! And I'm not sure if it's just me or not but every night I put avocado oil on my eyes and underneath them. I swear that my dark circles are fading Once again, thank you to everyone here and for all of the wonderful input you've left for us to read
Onto my question about the homemade Dr. H cleanser- I made my batch by grinding up the almonds in the food processor, grinding them with a pestal and mortar, and then giving them one last whirl in the food processor. This turned it all into a mushy, paste-like substance. After that I added my oils, and alcohol-free witch hazel. My question is, I read in the DIY thread that you should grind the almonds with water. Is this true? Or should I continue doing what I've been doing?
