Rubby and Bethany I can relate on not getting the exercise going, my pool company folded and between finding a new service and a load of rain it got a lovely (gross) green! Finally it's getting back to it's normal blue color. I know everyone will get back on track again and report in with losses!!! Smile

Bethany, you know I was just ribbing you about the full plate, it was just too tempting! Smile

I am definitely trying to get fully back on track, even though I haven't fully fallen off the wagon either. Confused

And I totally missed the full plate comment until now...I saw the great karma comment, and totally missed the part after that! Laughing

This is funny - that's exactly where I am at right now - neither here nor there Confused.

I've been doing well so far this week. Exercise and green smoothie both Monday and Tuesday. Hope to repeat the routine tomorrow again Pray .

I just started exercising again last week. So far, so good. I don't know if anyone likes dance, but I got the zumba dvd and I love it. There are a few moves that my body doesn't want to do, mostly involving the hips, but it is a fun workout and if you like to dance it doesn't feel like you are working out at all.

Good for you Riley, That sounds like my kind of exercise I don't want to feel like I am working out! LOL

I have a zoomba DVD floating around... I CAN'T FIND IT!!!! I've been looking for 2 months now.

Our community center offers zoomba 2x's a week. I can hardly wait until my kids go back to school so I can go!!!

Looks to be so much fun!

Bethany, your kitten is adorable (and he looks like he's getting premium channels broadcast to his little head)! Very Happy

Is he doing better after his surgery?

I've actually given up on weight loss. I figure I've earned the right to eat cake and drink coffee all day and let myself go.

(Ok, not really, but I'm totally unmotivated at the moment...)

You know, I haven't been overly motivated myself...it must be hitting all of us (except Riley!) at the same time! Now I just need to follow her lead, sigh.

Onyx did very well after his eye surgery (loved the channels comment!), but is having a MAJOR ear surgery to remove the mega polyp inside his inner ear canal. It is this Friday, and I took the whole next week off to devote to his care. I am very stressed because he could have permanent hearing loss, and possibly permanent drooping of his eye on that side. Not to mention that it will hurt like hell!! But he's a youngster (10 months) so he should pull through ok.

And as if that wasn't bad enough, he had a feline herpes (FHV) outbreak in his eye this week....FHV also caused his ear polyp. AND all the mouth/throat issues his brother Bacardi has, sigh. But he still felt well enough to play like crazy this week. Smile

Image

And what does the breeder have to say? "80-90% of all cats have herpes." Oh really...do 80-90% of all cats need $3,000 of herpes related surgery? Rolling Eyes She did say I could send them both back (after I am emotionally attached after 9 months) and she'll send me new ones. I don't think so! Mad Rolling Eyes Mad

Ok...I am done ranting, sigh. I should have stuck with the cute, little, domestic shorthairs! Rolling Eyes

No wonder I haven't stuck to my diet...too much stress! (and I haven't even mentioned WORK stress) Rolling Eyes

I love your kitties! Thanks for sharing! Are all three of your cats Persians? What such young lives to have all these problems! Poor guys! I'm sure they'll pull through! It reminds me of when my dog got Parvo!

I can't believe the breeder was like "just send them back". Oh yeah great idea! Geez!

I actually have 6 cats. Embarassed All are types of Persians, which have lots of health issues. Sad

If you click on the pic above, it will take you to pics of all of them (look at the front of the album for the older cats, and the back of the album for the 2 Exotic kittens). 3 of them are rescues, and the other 3 are not.

- 2 are Himilayans (long haired, color-pointed Persians..Cashmere is shaved in the pic above)
- 1 is a brown patched tabby Persian
- 3 are Exotics (short haired Persians..the black and the gray in the pic above)

Ok...I promise to NOT talk about my furkids anymore! Very Happy

Oh thanks for sharing your pictures! My mom and I enjoyed looking at them! Those first pictures of Lily are very nice! I really like your Marmalade cat! Soooo fluffy! But they're all cute! You have some really nice pictures, you should enter some in a photo contest!

My boyfriend's sister has a Maine Coon Cat. We always tease her and tell her we're really here to visit Ned lol. I told Ned if he wanted to take a kitty vacation he could come visit me!

It is great to hear Bethany that you have a made a clean and a clear skin and now it is the turn of your body. Even I would like to join you with the weight losing. I have completely gain my size in past few days and now I am worrying about my weight. I am afraid that my girlfriend would live me because of my body structure.

My daughter was watching top chef the other day and that is a total killer, watching all the cooking and food commercials it's like a major conspiracy to make you want food even when you aren't hungry! Rolling Eyes

You could always try and make low fat or healthy versions of the dishes they make.

But then, it might not be the exact same dishes Laughing

LOL... Darkmoon... too funny. My DH is a professional chef. We used to watch top chef, and we both would just get annoyed. Why are they doing that. Our critiques are probably over the top. Funny, I don't think I've ever gotten hungry watching that show. I feel more and more weird as time goes on!

DH likes Chef Ramsey. The guy knows cooking to an extreme. I get stressed watching him. Do you really need to shout at people all the time. But every time he starts yelling at someone my husband is like... "I can't believe he even has to say something... "

As I'm typing I just realized that I rarely have a craving for much of anything other than the occasional pc. of chocolate, and a steak. See? Weird... I get kind of grossed out with food commercials as I think about what's really in some of the franken "food"

Has anyone tried the HCG diet drops? This seems to be the fad in my neck of the woods and people seem to be losing weight. Just curious to see what you guys think about it??
