I NEED HELP!
I must confess that when it comes to skin products I am completely clueless. I am a 30 year old woman that just realized that I need to get with the program and become educated and not buy the fist thing I see on TV or the product that comes in a cuite bag. With that in mind I turn to you. My skin is VERY sensitive and I am pretty sure is normal (not dry or oily). My issues are:
a) fine lines around the lower and side part of my eyes
b) medium marks between my eyebrow
c) fine lines in my forced
I just recently got a magazine title New Beauty. It talks about many of the products that can help me. The problem is I don’t know if I am too young to start using these products or if they are any good. These are some of the products I was thinking on using.
Fine lines:
a)Lancome Resurface – C (Serum)
b)Lancome Resurface – C (Polishing Cream )
c)Erno Laszlo Transphuse
d)DDF Wrinkle Relax

Eyes:
a)Lancome Resolution Eye -D- Contraxol

If you have a better recommendation PLEASE by all means let me know.

Thank you
Very Happy

#1 - Start with a C-serum. It is a must for any age. I love CellularSkinRX C + Firming. And it's not pretty affordable.

#2 - Exfoliation will help turn over new cells. I love both Dermologica Microfoliant and CellularSkinRX Polishing Grains. Gentle yet effective and can be used daily.

#3 - For lines between the eyebrows and on the forehead, I suggest a product with Argireline. I like CellularSkinRX Relax-a-line. I love that it has just a few ingredients and I know what all of them are.

#4 - An effective, yet gentle cleanser. There are several I like: Dermalogica Ultra Calming Cleanser, MD Formulations Facial Cleanser, Janson-Beckett Organic Cleansing Milk.

Sorry I don't really have any suggestions for the eyes since I don't have any lines there. I do use a moisturizing eye cream at night.

Hope this helps.

Lori

Hello and welcome!

Lori gave some great tips Exclamation Some suggestions for fine lines around the eyes would be;

Roc (I forget the actual name of the eye cream but it's the one with retinol)

Dermadoctor Wrinkle Revenge Eye Balm (www.dermadoctor.com) Call them and they will send you free samples.

Your regimen should include some type of AHA's (think glycolic, lactic acid) or a light manual scrub like Lori suggested. These products help remove the surface layers which have dead skin cells. Result will be smoother skin. Very Happy

You also may want to consider some type of product containing retinol or even a prescription strength Vit. A product. The latter would require a trip to the derm. for a prescription. Clinical studies on Retin A (tretinon)are very favorable for increasing collagen production and reduction of acne.

Most importantly I can't stress enough that you should wear SUNSCREEN. One that your skin can tolerate and is photostable. All the product in the world won't help unless your skin is adequately protected from UVA/UVB rays. If interested, try using the "search" feature on the forum, you'll find lots of rec's and advice. Good luck Exclamation Smile

**edited for typos because AGAIN she didn't have her glasses on. Embarassed
