Hi Becz21:
I use Pout foundation and I really like it! I have used it for the past year and a half. I have tried a couple of others in that time...but I go back to Pout. Two years ago I would have never thought that I would ever be wearing foundation. Then I was at the Stila makeup counter to buy some powder and the SA was able to convince me to buy foundation...a couple of months later I bought Pout foundation - and I was sold!
It is very light - but gives pretty good coverage. I have always worn Candy - more pinkish - but I have wanted to switch to the more yellow tones...problem is - I am between two shades there...
All that said, I am currently looking for a new foundation. I suppose being fairly new in the world of foundation I am thinking there will always be something better - I haven't tried enough foundations to be a great judge- but I can tell you that Pout sold me on using fountation. Also - now I am hoping to find a good foundation with SPF.
As for the illuminator - I have never bought it but I was close one time...I do like it - I am just not totally into that type of thing - because my skin is oily. I bought the bronzer instead to give me the 'glow' - Pout is not into the matte look!!!!! I am not crazy about the bronzer and may still buy the illuminator one day...it does give a nice glow.
(I am sorry I am telling you about my own personal story instead of giving a product review!!!)
I bought the new Pout powder and I like it too!
To sum up: I would recommend Pout foundation and illuminator! I am very much into the natural look - and I think Pout is good for that!!!! Also, the foundation does have a nice dewey finish, I find. Hope this was of some help......... |
