This looks like something interesting to try.
I have light skin but it seems a bit more bright than the bisque (although that looks closest. Is it best to go a bit darker for color (like Satin). Most of the colors look so dark for me. Thanks for any advice. |

my advice is to find a place that sells it and try-i have light skin with warm undertones and I use Warm Silk and its light on me. The only thing that I don't like about it is that it is hard to apply and tends to slip during the day. I have since been sampling regular foundation again (Chanel, Clarins) i do like the JI and can;t use powder or pressed because of Bismuth allergy.
skin: normal/combo sensitive |

Thanks Redhead so they are much lighter than they appear on the screen. What is the texture like on you?
Does it fill the pores?
Thanks again |

the finish was dry and after it stays on your skin i did notice that it settled into the lines I don't really have large pores but it in my husbands opinion (which i ususlly don' take) he said I looked mask like. Now i just had a sample of Chanel Tient Natural (to greasy) and Clarins ultra touch cream to powder and that looks and feels really good. Had people at work say how nice it looked. I applied a thin layer and it felts good and then dusted a translucent pressed powder (cheap brand) to set. I had the Chanel in Pale Ivory and the Clarins in shade #6 Neutral. The JI may be good in the summer but its to drying for now and the colors are hard to match for my skin everything turned orange that they thought would match. Keep me posted |

It’s my understanding that there are significant color differences between all of the shades in liquid, loose or pressed versions even if they share the same name (i.e.: “Warm Silk”) so I concur with red head’s recommendation to find a retailer to test out the shades in person to find your match because – unfortunately – they don’t offer samples of the JI liquid foundations like the ones that can be ordered fromwww.skin-etc.com. |
