I am interested in making Vit C serum...I would like to incorporate Hyaluronic acid if possible. If you make your own Vit C, how do you do it??

I found this version of Vitamin C on this forum but cant recall who was the original poster. I made slight adjustments to it since I thought it was a little runny. I used vegetable glycerin instead of propylene glycol since my skin is pretty dry and for me it just feels better with a thicker consistency. The original is as followed:
1 1/2 tsp distilled water
1/3 tsp l'ascorbic acid
1/4 tsp propylene glycol
1/4 hyaluronic acid

Vitamin C serum works better when combined with Vitamin E.
I make my Vitamin C serum as per the recipe on the DIY forum ... and then I add the contents of a Vitamin E capsule [400 IU] and the contents of a lecithin capsule [as an emulsifier] ... and shake it up.
It makes a slightly thicker serum ... but I like it a little thicker anyway.
There is no reason why Vitamin E couldn't be added to the above recipe as well.
Just a thought ...
