Hi all,
I noticed that every time I use oil (whether OCM, or just for moisturizing), my skin looks good for a maybe a week, then fine lines being to appear. And these are lines that I never see unless I start to use oil. And the lines disappear once I stop using oil. Anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening? Or any ideas on how I can use oil without causing lines?
Thanks!

I have sort of the same problem...I think anyways. I never used an eyecream until the last 6 months ( ing?) I'm using Decleors Hydra Floral eye gel (I got it in september, and there's still plenty left!).
Anyways...my point is, I think that after I started useing this "Deeply Hydrating" cream I think I've developed more fine lines - and that they are less fine than they were before I started useing cream...if that makes any sense...
It might just be that time is taking it's toll on my skin, and the cream hasn't got anything to do with it... Could be that I pay more attention to my eyearea and lines in general since becoming addicted to this forum...
So I pose the same question as Rogneda, can oil and / or hydrating creams cause lines? |

For me, I saw an increase in fine lines in about a week. So it's not time taking toll on my skin. And there were definitely more/deeper lines than before I started using oil.
So it's not so much a question of "can oil cause lines," but more of "why is it causing lines in my case, but not in most other people?"

I posted a similar question about fine lines around my eye area. I also noticed that since I implemented more oils into my skin care regimen that I have more fine lines. Now, I'm concerned. |
