I have white spots all over my body, and everyday it seems that they spread. My girlfriend had them and then they went away, she went to the doctor and they gave her loprox shampoo for them. My question is how do you use the shampoo on your skin, on the back of the box it says use in hair, do you use it in hair or how do you use it on the skin ?? And what else can I do to get them to go always, my whole back is almost one. Please help thanks !!  |

I got this once actually. I does take a little time to go away. Its called tinea versicolor. My doctor told me to put selson blue on it. It works great. You just rub on your skin like lotion. Good luck

| Im sure applying to clean skin would be a more effective way to do it. So yes, use it after the shower. My mom had it alot worse then me so she might know more. She actually arrives from Miami tomarrow (thats probably why she gets it worse than me, she's always in the sun.) Ill ask her how she does it, and let you know. |

The stuff is shampoo (Loprox) so i have been using it in the shower, i rub it on my skin and leave it on in the shower for 5 mins then wash it off. I Have been doing now for about 3 months and it hasent gotten any better, so i just want to make sure im doing it right!

| Stepping back a bit, are you sure they are spots caused by sun exposure and not some other condition? I would hate to have you get disappointed in treatments for sun spots when you could be doing something else for another condition with success. Do you have access to a dermatologist? |
