Hi all!

This is a really great forum and I tried to go back through threads so I didn't ask something that has been answered. Maybe I missed a thread on this but can you combine all these great homemade treatments? I have combination skin and just tried using grapeseed oil for the OCM and I was impressed with one try. I have castor oil on order and hope to see even better results. After I applied the ACV toner and then a tiny drop of grapeseed to moisturize, probably only will do that at night. I was thinking in the morning of using DHC and then the ACV and no moisturizer. I was just wondering how often is too often to use DHC? Am I messing things up by even using the toner? I am just curious about everyone's experiences. Sorry if my post dragged on, I am just so excited to find something so natural that really works! Oh, one last thing, when applying the DHC, do you wet your face and the apply or do you put it on dry skin? Also, I used a circular motion to apply this? How long do you all massage DHC? I know about the DHC recipe, are then any other of his recipes posted in this forum? How many of you use soap in the shower everyday? I am trying to figure out if I can just rinse off and use soap every so often and if my body skin would stop being so dry. I use castile. Thanks again for listening!

just to clarify here - when you say DHC do you mean dr hauschka cleansing cream? It's just that DHC is actually another brand of skincare products...

if you are talking about dr h cream (which i am going to assume you are...) then i use it daily, every morning in the shower. first of all i wet my face with a flannel, then put a bit of the cream in the palm of my hand and sort of smear it over my face. then with both hands (the palms mostly) kind of damp, i *squish* it or press it into my skin all over my face. after a bit, maybe a minute, of pressing, i rinse my face under the shower and voila - finished!
i also use a toner everyday morning and night after my cleanser, but i think this is really personal choice, some people like toners, other people don't. then i put on my moisturiser (although lately i've started using my vit c serum in the morning instead of at night like i used to. the serum goes on before the moisturiser).

in terms of soap in the shower, i'm always very careful to keep soap just in *those* areas and wash the rest of myself with a soap-free body wash. if i don't my skin gets terribly dry and uncomfortable.

I don't wet my face before using the Dr. H cc, however I mix the cc with water in my hand before applying it to my face. I massage for as long as I have patience for which is usually about 30 seconds, but I try to go for 3 minutes.[/list]

Yes, you can combine OCM, DHCC and ACV toner in to a single skincare regimen. For example, you can use the DHCC in the mornings, tone with ACV and use a moisturizer or not depending upon your skin’s needs. Personally, I do not use any moisturizer at all on a regular basis but then my skin is so oily it makes enough of its own moisture/lubricant all by itself! Shock In the evenings, you can use the OCM to remove dirt and makeup, and – again – followup with ACV toner.

You’ve just got to experiment a little until you find what works best for your skin.
