I am a newbie in posting on this site, but have spent the past few days reading numerous posts trying to get an idea of which skincare lines and products are highly recommended. It all started when a good friend of mine mentioned re-ordering more Yon-Ka products not quite a week ago.
Well, after narrowing down which skincare lines would suit me & armed with my credit card, I actually spent the past two days locating stores which carry these lines...and looking at the packaging for the product ingredients. Talk about a shocker! All of the products I picked up from the following 3 skincare lines listed most, if not all of the 4 main parabens, which I've been staying away for the past 3 years now: Yon-Ka, Decleor, and Dermalogica. One of the lines I just mentioned has sodium laurel sulfate and my personal rule of thumb, if the ingredients has 3+ syllables, buyer beware. Fortunately, the last place I stopped at carried Eminence Organics (some of you in this forum highly recommended the masks)...and let's just say I was sold! I bought the Limited Edition Rose Collection Tube and a 2oz Rosehip and Maize Exfoliating Masque. With all the research I've done, I'm hoping Eminence Organics is my holy grail. In another week or so, I'll be spending some time at a local Whole Foods checking out Dr Hauschka's products. |

| Thanks for the link, SusieQ....but I have to say I'm a little dubious at all of the info since it's released from the cosmetics industry! Personally, I'm going to play it safe and avoid parabens and other ingredients I believe to be harmful. I love Dr. Hauschka ....also worth checking out Lavera and Aubrey Organics if this is also a concern of yours! |

Hi Naturelle,
I use a product called Miessence...it is certified organic by the USDA to food standards. You will never have to worry if there is anything harmful in these products as they are the most pure and beneficial line I have ever seen...not to mention they work great.
