I've had it since I was a kid. It's very close to me mouth. Not really obvious because it almost looks like a laugh line because of its location. Can any creams or prescriptions take it away?
Thanks!

Some creams will promise to but they won't. I have a broken capillary on the side of my nose and no amount of bleaching or vitamin K will erase it. Some blood is just stuck in the vein and will stay there until the vein is lasered. It does work! Go to a derm and they'll zap it for you. Cool

It is hard to give you an advice, because I didn't see your vein. You said that you had it since you were kid, but you have to find out the reason why you have it, was it as a result of physical pressure, or poor blood circulation, or you were born with it? I think you should go to the dermatologist and ask what is your options.
Hope that helps Smile

I've had to use both IPL's and jag laser on stubborn spider veins. I had one under my eye that took three times. My husband has one on his nose he had done twice and it is better but still there. I wish cream would have helped but it does not. They actually have to "burst" to be dissolved. Do talk to your derm, most do this now in their office, at leadt mine does.

My husband had one on his nose years ago and they filled it full of saline until it burst and it went away. I have them on the side of my mouth and my dermatologist said he could use a laser but becuase they are so deep he could not promise the procedure would get rid of them. He suggested that I wait until they got worse until I had the laser treatment. I have used products that promise to get rid of the problem but havent found one that worked.

There is not anything OTC that will get rid of this. You can have it lasered which may or may not work. The gold standard for treating them is to have them filled with saline. There are doctors that specialize in this. They are usually callled something like a "vain treatment center".

Both depend on a number of things. Where you live, how you are with pain, the dr's skill etc.

Take a trip through your yellow pages and make some calls. That's really the only way to know.

To me the laser feels like a rubber band snap against the skin but I also have them use the numbing cream so it isn't as bad.

Any number of things, irritation, rubbing, heredity, trauma, cold weather, thinning skin, hot water. My derm once told me that Retin-A caused one under my eye area/top of cheek so I switched to a lower retinol product in that area.

After 9 months of PSF O2 serum and Derma E spider vein cream my cheek veins are barely visible. Unfortunately, although less visible, the ones on my nose are still quite visible (the skin is more stretched there so I don't think creams can ever make them invisible). I've been looking for someone to zap them but haven't worked out all of the options.
