Hi

i need to decide about these two products, i had posted in a different post about the md formulations cream and cleanser but now through reading more posts have narrowed it down to either the md formulations cream or the avene ystheal. I really wanted my blackheads to be removed and an improvement in my fine lines and dehydrated skin and more even skin tone - which would be best??. I also plan to buy this afternoon the la roche posay hydranorm cream for night time use in between either the md formulations cream or the avene ystheal (which i plan to use at night). I am also going to buy the LRP active C XL for daytime use.

Hope someone can guide me here and sorry to be a pest!!

avene ystheal - I am buying this for my sunspots! I have been researching it and sounds pretty good. I just bought a bunch of skincare but this is next on my list! Wink

Thanks Sassyred, well i have now ruled out the MD Formulations and now it is between the Avene Ystheal and the Avene Diacneal - i read about the Dianeal on MUA and they rave about it for a anti-aging treatment even though it is meant for acne.

The Ystheal has the retrinal in it?? and the diacneal has both retrinal and glycolic??

how do u decide about these two?? which would be best at smoothing lines and getting rid of black heads?

From what I read on MUA the Diacneal is more for acne. I would ask questions on their board for yourself. Wink

I've been using Ystheal Gel for about one month and have had a lot of blackheads. The gel helps but does not do a great job of getting rid of them; however, I love it for retinoid treatment - barely any irritation at all.

For blackhead removal, the only thing that has worked well for me is OCM (oil cleansing method). I use 50% expeller-pressed castor oil and 50% expeller-pressed hazelnut oil (great for oily skin). I do this each night (started last week) and my blackheads are almost all gone. The trick w/OCM is to figure out which oils work best for you and in which percentage/mixed. I have very oily skin so can afford a higher percent of castor, which is very drying but excellent for pulling out the gunk.

Thanks for the info scalawaggirl, i msy try the OCM if the ystheal doesnt have a big improvement, my bro bought it for me in boots yesterday but he hasnt brought it home yet (he is a student lucky thing so stayed down with friends at uni for a drinking session!!) so i have to wait to try it tonight. I wonder if it doesnt work for the black heads could i alternate it with the Diacneal??

Sassyred, thanks for ur reply also, i would love to ask the forum on MUA but i use my internet at work and it doesnt allow me access to that site, i just happened to get a look at it on my brothers computer one day last week.

Well hopefully try the ystheal tonight.
