Three weeks ago, I said in a post that I wouldn't try Kinerase because it was bad for Leeleedeedee, who has similar skin to mine. But after reading rave reviews on MUA about it's ability to erase wrinkles, the lemmings made me try it!

After two days of use, I have large painful lumps under my skin! :oUCH! :oUCH! :oUCH!

Those @#$%&* lemmings!Mad

Alohagirl, I feel so bad for you! I hope those bumps go away soon.

I know there are a lot of people for whom Kinerase works well. I don't know what it is with our skin. Personally, I have wasted absolutely tons of money on products that just didn't work. But, all that being said I would still go out and purchase a product I wasn't too sure about just to see for myself whether or not it would do great things for my skin. This is called human nature.

Here's a tip for you. I used most of the Kinerase as a neck cream when I realized my skin just wouldn't tolerate it. No problems there.

I'm sorry this didn't work for you Alohagirl. Hopefully your skin clears up quickly and you can still use it up on other parts of your body as Leeleedeedee suggested.

Kinerase works fine for my mum and I also didn't have a problem with it when I used my sample (of both the lotion and the cream). However I don't have sensitive skin and neither does my mum. Incidentally, which version did you try? The cream or the lotion?

Proof that lemmings can be evil sometimes Smile

Thanks, leeleedeedee. It's nice to know I'm not alone. I think there's one good thing about having sensitive skin: we're less likely to purchase the latest skincare fads. I do hours of research on products and ingredients before trying anything new. Even so, mistakes happen. :ouch!

Oh, and thanks for the tip. I was going to toss the Kinerase, but now I think I'll use it on the backs of my hands. (The other area displaying premature photoageing.) Sad

Mabsy, I bought the cream because it's supposed to be the better choice for dry skin. Strangely, I didn't find it to be very moisturizing, despite all the raves on MUA about how great a moisturizer it is. Sad

Hi Girls!

Just a note - I bought the cream too and I also did not find it moisturizing in the least. As a matter of fact I found it to be quite drying and it gave me lines around my eyes.

Alohagirl, it's not fun to have sensitive skin but I'm glad we have had similar experiences otherwise I would really begin to worry about my weird skin. It's nice to share sensitive skin experiences with someone who can understand. Hope your skin is healing nicely.

Thanks for the well-wishes, girls. I've been using Decleor 's Essential Balm, and the lumps are receding twice as fast as they normally would. (Isn't it nice to have a product that actually does what it's supposed to?)
