For those of you whom order from our website, and who use AOL for your e-mail, kindly note that AOL rejects all e-mail from Essential Day Spa. Their filters do not even place our e-mails into the "spam" box. I cannot tell you how many times per day I speak-to people, or receive e-mails from clients who are wondering why we haven't confirmed their orders, or followed-up with them. The truth is, we HAVE, of course, but AOL hasn't delivered the mail! Jerks!
Therefore, I would advise that people use an alternative e-mail address when placing on-line orders. Open a free Hotmail or Yahoo account. This way, all lines of communication will be open between EDS and AOL users! |

Aol is just getting to be a horrible ISP,I am going to tell them I want to recieve mail from you !!And it would be great if all of us who are AOl users would complain.
Wouldnt it be sad if you were chosen for a prize and couldnt get it.
Ok,Im going to go talk with them.
Have a really wonderful day. |

Ok I don't get it...AOL is weird then. I say this because:
A. I got an email from you (EDS) telling me I won a voucher, but
B. When I emailed your CS I never got a response. Makes sense now that I know about the filter thing, but,
still doesn't solve the mystery as to why I have received email in the recent past (hehe, that's an oxymoron) and incorrect english. LOL

AOL does this on another board I post on. It wanted to charge the board for each e-mail it sent to me. The owner refused, three cheers for her! I opened a Hotmail account and will be canceling my AOL when my contract is up.
This is only one on top of a mountain of stuff AOL has done in the 5 years I've had them for an ISP. |

Yeah I opened a hotmail account too. I haven't had any other major issues with AOL--thank goodness. What's weird though, if I want to check the reviews on MUA I have to use internet explorer--otherwise my session just times out. Someone else on MUA had a similiar problem reading reviews--wonder if they had AOL. I've had the account for so long (9yrs.) I hate to switch--I'm loyal like that--to some extent anyways. |

I just opened a verizon email account. It was fustrating not getting confirmations and replys from EDS. Since I opened another email account their is no problem at all. Thanks CM for clearing this up for us. Now I am wondering just how much email I have not received from AOL. |

I am posting this here as the announcement that CM just made regarding AOL is locked. I don't use AOL so this doesn't pertain to me, but I do have an idea that may, and I say may work. Would it be possible for EDS to put an a notice in the "Profile" part where people set up their accounts. Maybe put it in red so they see it when setting up their user name, telling them that AOL won't work that they need some other service for email. |
