Does anyone know the real ingredient list? parabens or no? "organic?" or no?
EDS/DDF lists ingredients as:
Micronized Titanium Dioxide, Micronized Zinc Oxide, VItamins A,C and E, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Co-Q10, Genistein, Glutathione, Grape Seed Extract, N-Acetyl-Cysteine, Pyconol, Zinc
Drugstore.com lists ingredients as:
Active Ingredients: Titanium Dioxide 2.5%, Zinc Oxide 4%
Inactive Ingredients: Water, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Glyceryl Stearate, Dimethicone, Cyclomethicone, Beeswax, PEG 100 Stearate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Polyglycerol 6 Isostearate, Polysorbate 80, C10-15 Alkul Benzoate, Glycerin, Aloe Barbadensis, Allantoin, Panthenol, Disodium EDTA, Redox I {Retinyl Palmitate (Vit A), Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate (Vitamin C), Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Zinc Gluconate, Thioctic Acid (Alpha Lipoic Acid), Pyconol, Acetyl Cysteine, Glycine soja (Soybean) Sterois, Ubiquinone (CoQ-10), Lutein, Anthocyanins), Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf Extract, Laminaria Digitata Extract, Methylparaben, Phenoxyethanol, DMDM Hydantoin, Propylparaben
And DDF website link is to "View key ingredients" shows the shorter list.
So, perhaps they don't give the whole list online?
If you own this, what does it say on the box/tube? |

What's new about it? Different product? Or the same? |

I believe it's a different product from DDF Organic Sun Block SPF 30. I saw the old one on EDS earlier today, but it's now been taken off. I think it might be a reformulated formula, but I'm not sure.
Here's the link to the new one:

Parabens it has based on your list in the first post. "Organic" - I suppose the natural ingredients are organic, but it also has a fair amount of added chemicals, including silicones. |

DDF's organic ss means that it uses only physical blockers, but it does not mean that it's in fact all "organic" in ingredients. |

I think using the word "organic" means very little. If anything. Unless it's certified by someone/something. And the word is defined. |

Nope. It's just there has been other threads on it on EDS and the whole organic thing was clarified (as I recall) in those threads, so I wanted to point that out in case others are questioning the meaning of it. I prefer ss with a higher SPF (at least 40) and am trying to get my hands on some European Avene which has Tinosorb. |

Aren't you currently using Clarins UV Plus? I'm looking a sunscreen to replace my OP sunscreen which only has SPF 25. |

I'm currently using L'Occitane Very Precious Fluid SPF 40. It has the exact same ingredients as the Clarins but with a lot of extra botanical extracts so it's not as dry as the Clarins. The only thing I don't like about it is the scent. But I'm planning to get an Avene to use for days out and use the L'occitane for when I stay at home or go out later in the evening since I'll be moving to a more tropical environment soon. |

It doesn't seem to be available on EDS. It's such a shame as L'Occitane in Thailand doesn't stock the whole products range either. And Clarins doesn't even stock UV Plus. Anyway, what's the texture of L'Occitane like? |

By the way, do you use it as a sunscreen alone or you replace your day cream with it? |

I use it over Osea's APC. I've never used it alone and wouldn't think it would be hydrating enough alone as I do not have oily skin anymore. |

Oops, I missed your texture question. It's very light, almost the same as the Clarins, very fluid and watery but not so much that it would run down your face. It seems to adhere to my skin better than the clarins and less "balling up" or flaking. In Asia the Clarins is under the white plus range. But I much prefer the L'occitane. Besides L'occitane has the % of TiO written out and specifies an PPD of PA+++ which means it should have PPD of 6-8 while the Clarins doesn't specify this information at all. |

Thanks for the clarification sormuimui. It does sound like a good option for those days when I'm just staying at home. As for Clarins, I'll look into it here. |

I heard DDF organic sunblock is soft and not greasy. But not suitable in summer.Because it is too weak for sweat and water. |

I have just received the DDF organic sunscreen!
As with all new products, I always test it behind my ears or on any sensitive parts of my body to see if I'm allergic to it.
But I accidently squeezed a bit too much and ended up applying it all over one half of my face...and no white cast, no greasiness |
