For the last few days i have become very intregued by the Elizabeth Grant skin care products that are being sold on T.V.
I dont generally use a skin care product as my skin is good condition and have found in the past that when i do use products I have a mass outbreak in spots (which is not the kind of thing a 34year old girlie needs)
However, over the last 12 months i have been under a huge amount of stess and find that when i look in the mirror on a morning i see my mother looking back at me. Which i have to add is not a bad thing but she is over 20 years my senior.
Anyway getting back to why i am posting - has anyone with normal skin tried the Elizabeth Grant range and are they any good ????? They are expensive and i dont want to waste my cash -
Let me know your experiences |

Yes, I have tried Elizabeth Grant and no, I did not like them and no, I do not have normal skin. But, my dislike of her products did not have much to do with my hypersensitive, allergic skin. I just felt that her products were unremarkable.
The main skin care products are her a.m. and p.m. serums. These serums are just plain yucky. They just sat on my skin and were so annoyingly sticky. I found her moisturizers to be drying, her eye cream irritating to my eyes and it was all a big waste of money for me. The last time I get sucked in by home shopping. I bought one of those kits where you get everything but the kitchen sink. Well, most of her products still remain around my bathroom sink. I will eventually just throw them out. So, I did not have any kind of bad reaction - no break outs or anything like that. Her products just didn't do anything and I can't get over how horrible those serums were. I got two sets of them in the kit and I have one set left. Sorry to be so negative. I would like to say something good but all I can think of is that some people must like them so maybe someone will post a good review of her products. |

| Wow! I noticed the same thing, and thought it was just me! Then the person replied to your comment and said she'd had the same experience. I mean like it was really, really sticky, especially the serums, with the more concentrated amount of Elizabeth Grant's "secret ingredient" in them. Weird that she's allowed to cause us to ingest something, yet not compelled by law to tell us what that is! Any lawyers out there have a comment on whether it's even legal to sell something with a secret ingredient in it? How's she getting away with it, internationally, all this time? Weird. She seems like a nice, honest lady, and I believed in her at the time I bought it. I'd just like to know once and for all. Does anyone on the Earth know what the Torricellum marine compound IS yet?!! Thanks for posting! :? |

Read the ingredient listings posted on the inserts enclosed with the products or find them online at places like TSC. Her trademark compound is clearly spelled out. Hope that helps! |

| I happen to like the am and pm serum very much, especially around winter time - the indoor heat and outdoor coldness. I don't deny the serum can be sticky, if you apply too much. I apply 2 pumps for the whole face and it does good job of keeping my face hydrated the whole day, looking dewy but not shiny. I believe the main ingredients are aloe gel, HA and other plant extract. If you are looking for a HA serum, the am and pm serum will be a good choice, for the price when you get them as showstopper from TSC. |

| Hi Smiley Cheesecake. I was lured in by her on the TSC and bought several sets thinking it would be great if they worked as they were fairly economical at the TV prices. What a waste of money. As others said the serums sat on my skin and it felt hot and sticky ..and this was in the winter..also and much worse the pores on my nose in particular became very enlarged and congested and it took me a few weeks to clear them up..even had to do many extractions to clear them. I don't think her products are good quality at all and I don't believe they have anti aging properties, maybe some moisturizing. I would tell anyone they can find much better products for the same or less money. I also wanted to believe she was sincere but I don't think she really is..sorry to disappoint. |

My older sister loves EG products; for me, they really do a heck of a lot of nothing.
I dumped the contents, cleaned out the containers and now have a nice little stash for when I feel a DIY frenzy coming on. |

| If you require 24 hrs hydration this is the line to use. I've been a user for several years and I can say that my skin is very creamy looking and well moisturized. This is a plus for me in the winter time. I guess it depends what you want your skin care to do for your skin. If people find her serums & creams too sticky or just sit on the skin, than they are applying too much. One drop of the am/pm serums are enough for me. A dot of her moisturizer is all I need on top. I would try the serums out to begin with and don't use anything else. |

Elizabeth Grant now has a short blurb, shown when she's on air on TSC, showing what and where Torricelumn (the ubiquitous ingredient in her products) comes from. The blurb says that it comes from the depths of the sea (like some algae) which they harvest and then infuse with vitamins, among other thing, in their labs.
I guess, though, that this is simply Sea kelp bioferment that you can get from many sites like Skin Actives. Elizabeth Grant's AM and PM serum has the same, if not more, sticky feeling as Skin Active's "Let make Collagen" Serum, which has Sea Kelp bioferment as the second ingredient. Skin Active's serum is recommended, however, to be used as a mask that you leave on your skin for 20 minutes, though you can leave it overnight if you want to. The recommendation for it to be used as a mask is, I think, because of the "sticky" feel on the skin. |

| I used her products and didn't notice any sort of difference. I also didn't care for the scent. |
