Hi, I'm new here.
I'm really interested in getting either Decleor ylang ylang oil or Decleor ylang ylang balme.
What is the difference between the two? And which do you prefer??
thanks.... |

I thought I would try to answer this as best I can.
I am not 100% sure but from what I can gather, the Decleor oil is meant for useage both morning and night for under moisturiser or balme and enhances their properties.
The balme is used as a night cream. |

If you'd like to get one or the other then apparently the oil is the more popular option. That was the advice given to me here when I asked this question a while ago: http://www.essentialdayspa.com/forum/viewthread.php?tid=5622

there's a recipe for the oil in the DIY thread...so you can make the oil and bug the balm! Decleor claims that their products work better together, in other words an oil + cream or an oil + balm.
I've used the neroli and the rose d'orient oil with a balm or with a moisturizer twice a day for ages and ages and I love them. |

Although I've only had samples of the balms I like the oils better and have full sized products. I find they have stronger nice aromas and help me go to sleep at night. The balms are more like light creams.
The oils absorb well. |
