Cellular Skin RX C + Firming Serum OR PSF vit c serum?

I can´t figure out which would be best for my acne prone, combo-dry skin?

From memory, CSRx has the more substantial texture. Out of those two I would go with the PSF for my normal sometimes combo skin - but that is based purely on the texture of it and how it feels on my skin. The good news is that both are very stable Smile

I have normal/dry skin and love the CSRX C+firming. I have used other C serums that were too drying for me. Haven't tried the PSF one though, but think it might suit your skin type more.

I have combination skin and I found the PSF vit. C serum too shiny on my skin, due to the glycerine content. Now I know to avoid serums with glycerine in them.

I agree with PocoLoco. I used to use the SkinCeuticals and liked it but it was so expensive that I switched to PSF. I noticed that I have to use less now or I will break out, so don't think I'll be going with Vivier unless it doesn't contain the glycerin. I have seriously been considering the CellularRx brand. Does anyone know where to place this in our "lineup"?

My favorite vit C serum is Vivant Spintrap. It's 15% L-ascorbic acid, plus the spintrap antioxidant. Very nice texture...not too watery, no glycerin, no sting. Very Happy

The CSRx serum is the most "substantial" of the listed ones - so to the right of Vivier on that list. HTH

If I was going to go "to the right" of PSF it would have to not contain glycerin. I don't mind if it is more substantial. Anyone else here who is acne prone with dry skin who is using and liking Vivier or CellularSkinRx? Please join us.

I'm not 100% sure on this but I think Vivier is propylene glycol based and CSRx is butylene glycol (I don't know much about either for acne prone skin, sorry). To be honest, if I had acne prone skin I would be staying in that middle ground just to be safe...

What I understand so far is that cellularRx is more "substantial" in feel but not necessarily "greasier" ingredients wise than PSF, and that the PSF contains glycerin and two of us have experienced that as being too problematic for our acne prone skin.

Sharkbait, have you decided what to try?

I think I´ll go for the Cellular Rx to begin with. I can add it to my order here at EDS, and not many people seem to have had a problem with it. I´d love to try PSF, but samples aren´t available here in Scandinavia, so I might order a full size later.

The CSRx feels too oily on my skin. I know it's not oily itself but it feels like it so I call it "substantial" but I just don't like the texture for my normal-typed skin. I know others use it and have no problems so it is a perference issue.
