I started using Obagi with retin a. My under eyes look very dry and wrinkled. Sad I dont put the retin-a under my eyes, but near it. Neutral Is the retin-a causing more wrinkles under my eyes since that area is so thin and sensitive Question Or it could be from the Obagi making my face so tight that it makes my eyes look wrinkle when I smile. Idea

Does anyone know if retin-a does cause under eye wrinkles Question Is that why there's a warning to keep the products out of eye area or just so you don't get it in your eyes for safty.

I think the retin a is just drying your skin out.

You might want to use a heavier eye cream..

Hi Song, It's normal for your undereye area to look wrinkly & dry when you first start using a retinol product there. I've heard that this eventually subsides with continued use...I think what you're going through is what they sometimes call "the tough it out period" when you can't stand the way your skin looks and want go back to using just a regular eyecream--no retinols. Personally, I couldn't tough it out...I used retinol under my eyes and I felt like I looked about 100 years old! I went back to using a moisturizing eyecream and the skin returned back to normal...actually, it WAS better than normal--no lines at all! I almost went back to using retinol, but I just can't stand that wrinkly phase Confused hth Smile

Thanks everyone! I'll keep on going and see if it will improve. It's only been a few days and it looks better.
